@gamegearbelgium So should i wait or you suggest me to buy the old version of mamba?i mean for the new version i have to wait a month(maybe more)and it is brand new,which means that there is a chance to has problems..The old version is on the stores more than a year so it is tested instead of the new one

@ForzaaPAOKARA that's a though one, because next to the sensor (which we still don't know how it will perform in "the wild" ;-) ), it has a better battery life time and that is of course interesting.

What I would say is: if you see a great promo on the old mamba, go for it. If the price doesn't drop, wait for the new one. (Unless you need it real urgent)

The new Imperator has the same issues as the old one, namely z-axis tracking and axis locking on lift off. I thought the problems would be fixed, but they're not. I'm returning it pretty soon :\

@erictooth dang man cuz i was going to get one too. I'v been looking EVERYWHERE for a review cuz i hate the shiny sides and the z-axis thing and i have an overall problem with moving the mouse fast vs slow i just don't like the precision.

@Jawceps I haven't been able to do a real test, so I can't recommend them yet, the concept looks cool, but we'll still have to wait and see how they hold up in the field

This mouse will beat the XAI (Avago A9500 sensor) in terms of presicion.

@MW2mostwanted you do have twice as much data and under 2 different angles, so I agree this can make it more precise, the more data you have, the better the decision you can make

@gamegearbelgium It doesn't make it more 'precise', it just lowers the lift off distance. The mouse still suffers (because of the horrible sensor) from the z-axis jitter - as in lifting up the mouse which you would if you ran out of mousepad room and brought it back.

@gamegearbelgium Yeah, I was actually looking forward to this mouse if the optical sensor fixed the issues, but it only fixed like one out of three.

I really want to ask... can I switch my old imperator 3.5G for a razer imperator 4g? It has a few problems (that i've found) within the years I had it. (1.5 years to be more precise) I can still claim warrenty.

It's available right now but I think I'll send them an email addressing the issues I have and ask if I can swap over for the newer brand :)

@TheNiceguy1212 ok cool, when you go directly, there shouldn't be a problem since the 4G imperator is ment to replace the old one in time, so it would only make sense if they'd give you the new one. I hope it works out :)
