Yes I did get the job! I must say after 4 years of working there; the job is more physically demanding than I expected. That said the medical exam was way overboard. As I understand it, the city no longer goes through this process anymore. Now they waste the money elsewhere!
That's so stupid. I'm sure that there aren't many people over the age of 5 that haven't had a headache, a fever, or been dizzy! It's ridiculous that they can choose they're employees over petty things like that.

I think that is completely invasive and highly excessive! I can't believe they are actually making you take a blood test! I thought they just did tox screens through uranalysis anyway. I don't know why they would need to test your blood. That is just wrong.
