He doesn't play this song like this any more; it turned very bluesy, even during the 1985 tour! (This video is 1984) So, I don't know, maybe the way he plays it now was how it was meant to sound. Personally, I prefer it like this.

I love this song from the early 80s and it reminds me of my early teens. I had listened to Elton in the 70's as a boy because of my older brothers. The talent, creativity, and energy were contagious to me as a teen.

I was at this concert it was very good, other acts included, Big Country, Kool & The Gang, Nick Kershaw and a few others, Great Sunny Day brings back old Memories.

Good performance - about the best he ever sang this live. I wish the drummer wouldn't keep putting uncessary fills in. It makes the song sound crowded.
