The only down side in this game for mr is its a lot about luck.... i dont rly like games that involve luck. There is skill to it dont get me wrong, but luck is a huge factor....
Nice video. But it looks fake. No dice cups, no clock, fake background-cheering. Entertaining, but not the final of a serious tournament. Still, I liked watching it.
at 5:08 i feel white should have hit with 6/3(2) 12/9(2). brown had three numbers (4s, 5s, 6s) for an easy escape. white should have minimized this by hitting again and hoping his/her 5-point board would have held up.
@patrickdacaya i take your point, but i disagree fwiw. he still retains chance of hittng brown if brown throws low, but at same time does not yet destroy his own advantage. even if brown jumps wall ? just an opinion tho
At the 527min mark, a 3 and 2 were thrown. The white player took a 4 off and moved one of his 5 pieces into the three position. Have I seen this correctly?
white cheated

Brown def played better. White's move at 3:00 was horrible. He deserved to collapse.

@dkxkvtr interesting. am curious as to what he should have done instead, since i don't find any of the alternatives very appealing ?

No dice cups? Can't believe this is real.

Why did none of the judges notice white moved 4 and 2 when he rolled a 3 and 2 at the 5:27 mark?

@schnegal693 cuz the judges met mary jane before the last game

@GSBAINC Good point. I thought so at the time but assumed that my eyes were deceiving me.

Thank you for uploading this match!
PS I was more than surprised to see a championship match played without the use of dice cups.

@FuturePrimitive13 Very good point. I've had a few quick Googles and I'm sure this is a hoax. It's not on the Australian Backgammon website.
