Out of the last three types of pedals i've had (axis longboard, DW9000, and now Eliminator DD) I find the DD my favorite by far. Yes i agree it is a smooth where you feel like you don't have complete control, but, have 3 years of playing i find i trust my movements enough to keep control, kinda like muscle memory. Me being a metal drummer, i was never really able to break 200bmp 16th notes. Now I am able to do 210bmp 16th notes with control. I find it a bit harder to do quick burst however.
@KrazyKancerKid I have only had the pedals for just shy of 2weeks now. I can say this though, don't buy the pedal if you think that having such an expensive pedal is going to help. You can get cheaper pedals that are still great. The one thing that really makes this pedal remarkable, is that fact you can adjust it in so many spot, thats the one thing that really got me to buy them.
have you found that they produce enough power for you? i tried sum in a music shop, and they were really smooth and responsive but they seemed really week for my taste
hey man.. i trully trully trully agree with ur feedback... i sold my previous yamaha twin pedal which was what dave weckl use,the 2007 edition direct drive with night glow stickers on the base of the pedal.. it was nice till the bridge got some damage due to wear & tear.. so i've decided to buy another pedal, and eventually opt for DD after strenuous research .. now it seem so hard to play, becoz its tooooo smooth till my leg has no control over the pedal.. i cant even play broken 16th..!! help
Hey, do you reccomend long board or split board for fast metal drumming? Im gonna get these for my b-day in september, and im too lazy to change 2 pedals back twice.
@deweydextor is(are) the pedal(s) worth all the money, do you think?

@metalman738 I'm sorry to answering you late
For me, I think it is too expensive and I like the old Eliminator than this one ^^
I think you need to find some shop and try it ... If you like it ,that mean it will worth to buy

@deweydextor It's fine, don't apologise! At least your a Youtuber which actually replies.
Hm I guess you're right about that :) And $600 for a pedal is a little costly. Thanks!

@antonioaquila
I think, long board would fit your style. There will be more space for you foot and it's faster than split board(i think).

OMG what a wonderful and fast pedal!!!
did you use microphones?
what drumhead batter is?
moisesespisan 1 year ago
@moisesespisan
Yeah! It's a good Peal. :-)
No, It just a microphone on my video camera(Canon HFS11) but took out audio files from video and mixed them in protools.
For Drumhead I use REMO.
deweydextor 1 year ago
@deweydextor ok thanks
the video and the drumming are very good
i know that it's a remo but is it a pinstripe a powerstroke....?
thanks again
moisesespisan 1 year ago
@moisesespisan
Thank you so much
For the kick drum, It's clear pinstripe but it's form "Cadeson" and made by REMO
On the snare, I use coated pinstripe and Smooth White Diplomat on Toms
