I've had the same problem all weekend with several reloads from 1.1.2 back to 1.1.1
Even tried with the frenchi software.
Seems that the error relates to simFree needing your phones' serial number registered on their server to authorise unlock. This is done by the retailer...?
I'm thinking you have to purchase SimFree online in order to make the unlock happen.
ok sooo...im doing this now...and its still downloading that application..."install appsnapp" its taking pretty long...should i start over or give it the 5 mins...? your went through real fast... helpp please!!
The cuts were fast, but I was able to pause it fine enough. Anyways this is the best way by far that I have found to Hack the iPhone, I was up all night trying another method, and it failed every time. I was able to get it hacked and working with this method in 5 minutes, very nice!

This is for firmware version 1.1.1, i am wondering if this means you can put in any sim card for cell phone use or does it only work for AT&T.
