  • Nice tune to veg to.

  • I've always known Ryan Adams was good but this is one of the first tracks I've heard from him that's really hit me upside the head. Very Graham Parsons and ya know THAT'S a good thing.

  • @MattHatter glad I'm not the only one who sees Gram Parsons in Ryan Adams : )

  • Who are the 9 idiots that hated this song? Ryan Adams is top-notch in every aspect: roots-like voice, vivid songwriting, and overall staying power as an artist.

  • the locals are thinking what is this? should've bust out the killer riddims, get the people dancing

  • Fantastic ! Cooler than penguin piss :)

  • fantastic

  • his voice is especially perfect in this version. and the harmonica is so gooood

  • This osng makes me so Happy!

  • beautiful version..

  • It's Eb I covered this for my school ;)

  • @JoshWattsBlues do u know where i can find tabs?

  • Hey kids, The key for harmonica is E flat. The song is in B flat. That's cross harp for blues.... on guitar capo the 3rd fret and play a G shape chord for B flat..after that you're on your own.

  • the key is Eb

  • all the jamaicans like "wot da rass? where da riddim now?"

  • does anybody know what key harp he is playn here?

  • @burnojam79 Bb i'm pretty sure.

  • Great performance, but the audience seemed very disconnected.

  • cool to hear them do this. i love this album version and these too....good stuff. the vibe is tight

  • I love ryan adams... but I do NOT love those bel-bottoms. lewl

  • No they shouldnt make this a reggae version! Its perfect the way it is!

  • You're a dipshit if you think that's reggae.

  • Oh, I get what you mean. Forget that comment.

  • Do you know what reggae music is? Musically there is NO form of reggae..you think just because they're on a beach that it's reggae. It's the same arrangement but with acoustic instruments.

  • Ryan Adams kicks asss

  • This song is so brilliant.

  • they shouldve made it into a reggae version.. right?

  • VH1 Music in High Places, I have this DVD that was filmed in Jamaica, it is really great! Ordered on Amazon.

  • i have a hole summer of memories watching this dvd, with the 38th street gang hell ya what a time

  • i so love the acoustic version better than the original :O

  • Love this song :D it was an amazing album too, haha I have the urge to listen to it now :)

  • Brilliant.

  • he can't possibly get any more beautiful

  • @54spiritedwill54 haha someone's jealous of the harmonica ;)

  • Eres genial Ryan!

  • this is excellent. it's from a dvd? which?

  • Live in Jamaica. Originally from VH1's Music in High Places.

  • you can buy it on Amazon, but the price has gone up by like a fiver since the new tunes came out

  • All of This DVD is great, compliments for sharing...peace

  • woohoo, he looks hot 'n high here :D

  • you can't hear that bass?

  • that would appear to be what my comment was implying.

  • Nah you can clearly hear the bass. Try listening through headphones...might be your speakers or something :S

  • its an inspiration

  • LOVE!

  • as allways a epic performance by ryan!!!

  • que guapo :_

  • ¡¡¡Si!!!

    Genial interpretación como siempre

Me encanta el entorno un tanto peculiar, el Live in Jamaica

  • Any idea what key his harmonicas in?

  • It should be in A

  • The song is in Bb so harmonica is probably in Eb

  • capo 3, so "e" harp.

  • You're counting the wrong way... Plus blues players rarely use a harp in the same key as the song hence my comment above, which I have confirmed to be correct btw

  • Why exactly is that? Is it because it's the fifth?

  • Yeah I think so. I don't know much about it, but blues players tend to draw rather than blow. An Eb harp is Eb when blown but Bb when drawn - if you look online you can probably find a better description but that's the jist of it.

  • i just got this dvd yesterday, soooo worth it!!! in this scene they had to redo the song many times cause ants kept falling from the trees and biting him haha

  • I love his mad big bell-bottoms...

    Rexy

  • he can't possibly get any more beautiful!!! <3

  • love you babes

  • yo what kind of git is adams playin' here?

  • guild d25

  • brad rice is a pretty cool guy.

  • beautiful song in a beautiful country like jamaica...

  • one of my favourite ryan adams songs, along with halloween head. its a shame most of his songs don't suit the female voice, im an ok singer, but i sound horrible when i sing his songs!

  • is that brad pemberton on drums?

  • You bet.

  • he's so hot!

  • i think RA is the best, this is my favorite song,

  • "..and maybe be your baby tonight"

  • what is the key to this song?

  • key of g me thinks

  • Its actually Bb

  • He's so amazing and so adorable

  • Him and Damien Rice--great singers have bad teeth.

  • Nice video. Ryan is brilliant!

  • What the hell are you talking about? The fact that he recorded in Jamaica makes him a "wigger" and craving black acknowledgement?

Either way, good song. When Ryan's on he is ON, and this is a great, breezy song.

  • Dude just because you're a test tube baby from a black crack whore doesn't mean you should bash Ryan...Don't be a hater you jackass no talent ass clown..

  • BLACK? This is white music my friend. MOWO at its best. Country music. It originated in southern USA with the influx of Irish folk music. Get ya facts reet.

  • You do know that jamaica is a major island for tourism right. Kinda like if someone plays in China you don't call them communists.

  • You can tell he hasn't picked up a gitaur for teh first time.

  • yeah those open major chords are pretty tricky

  • In the words of David Letterman, "just tremendous."

  • this jamaica was the most stupidest idea he ever had. he'd tell you himself. man you know how cheap the heroin is round there?

    lol Randy Valentine

    Harsh Times T.T. & T. my man! ; )

    x

  • He looks so cute here. Yes, it's certain: I would kiss him, lol

  • quality song and great performance! Stoned as always on the interviews though.. So funny when he realises he's going nowhere with his answer and says: "man, i feel like brad pitt in true romance"

  • LMAO

  • He's supposedly clean his life up recently. He looks good in his new video "follow the Lights"

  • Ryan Adams ROCKS!!! I saw him live in San Francisco and then in Berkeley the next day. My boyfriend got me HOOKED on RYAN!!! This whole DVD is awesome!

  • I'll give you an example of how inspiring his work is.I started listening to Whiskeytown in the summer of 04(with the help of a friend turning me on)then Ryans solo stuff followed soon after.Since 04 I really have not diverted my musical attention to anything else.I can't recall any artist with such an effect on me musically and emotionally.Personally,I and all R.A. fans should be grateful that he remains lowkey, and I think he knows this as well.

  • I have not been impressed with today's music, saying that it was not hard at all to love the songwriting of this truly gifted artist.

  • Love this song, thank you

  • I AM IN LOVE!! I have never seen Ryan Adams although I have enjoyed his music immensely for some time now. What a beautiful creature.

  • You really have to listen to Ryan Adams in depth before you can judge him. He makes albums that are totally 100% different than the last. He has a garage rock album. A alternative country album. A folk country album. The guy can do it all. Which in turn makes it impossible for him to sound like anyone else.

  • or makes it easier to copy someone else with each album.

  • he sounds just like anyone else to me.

  • Awesome song, just not LOUD enough!

  • i have this DVD-loves it

  • that's dope!

  • Ummm. I'm a big Ryan Adams fan, what movie?

  • one of the best songwriters...

  • my fave song

    he´s amazing

  • you have to love ryan !

  • awesomw song! What's the name of this movie?

  • Ryan Adams: Music in High Places - Live in Jamaica

  • amazing!! my favourite ryan song...

  • I love this video! Sometime I will get this movie!
