  • @illeistheshizzle yeah its perun and dates back further than viking paganism much further. its caucasia where white people evolved caucasis mountain people the oaks. tough woriors oak tree is a sybol of perun. there were no people in northern europe at this time. so northern europe paganism has been influenced by them. its logical to me

  • Chwała Słowianskiemu narodowi Perun naszym Panem

  • man after 2:30 it just drives u crazy...kept on gettn goosebumps..

  • Perun was the main God of Slavians. I know that because I'm a Bulgarian and we are half Bulgars half Slavians. The god of the Bulgars was Tangra.

  • @TheOwnagefan The name of Tangra is very similar to the ancient Hungarian God Tengri, that's why Bulgarians are turanians too.

  • Greetings from Serbia my Slavic brothers! Слава!!!

  • This has nothing to do with Perun, nor with Slavic mythology or paganism. And it also has nothing to do with norse paganism. This is satanism what you are doing.

Russians never can find themself. This fucking comunism destroyed them. They use slavic swastika but believe that being nazi is slavic. Now they think being slavic pagan means playing satanic metal. Dumb! I like Russinas but not every shit that comes from your ass. This is true slavic: watch?v=IcWREXFvAFM

  • @G6600 Actually it's not! That's influenced by Turkish music a lot. Go listen to Vedan Kolod, or any song from Zobena Dziesma album by Skyforger. That's real Slavic music! Check out Tuman Yarom song by Arkona. It's a great cover of an old Ukranian song. When it comes to the pure old Slavic music in Serbia, there are only some songs performed by Pavle Aksentijevic and his band Zapis, as far as I know.

P.S. Писао сам на енглеском да би и остали разумели о чему говорим...

    Поздрав из Новог Сада!

  • @stefannikolicns Actually not. That what you think that is slavic is actually orthodoy respectively greek melos.

The whole national dances of Westslavs and possibly Ukrainians is influenced by gypsy dance čardaš. Slavs didnt use many instruments but rather voices.

Frula is romanian word and romanian = balcanic instrument. The only instrument slavs had is gusle. It is actualy the only common slavic word for an instrument. But group vocal singing is slavic, like singing while dancing kolo.

  • @G6600 Incorrect, but I won't be starting yet another conversation with a person of mixed of Slavic and non-slavic probably either Greek or Albanian descent.

  • Comment removed

  • @WodzuUK Sir, you dont wanna start conversation with a person of mixed slavic descent? Answer pls:

    1) Haven't you already started conversation by writing me anything.

    2) Arent you "pround of your 50% German" like you wrote on your page. + you are a Nazi and you listed only Hitlers citates on your page.

    3) Nazis killed over 150 members of my family from my village and killed over 25 millions of Slavs.

    4) I am Serbian and you telling me, I were mixed with Albanians?

    Just dont write me anymore!

  • @G6600 1) I just responded to your comment, you started the converstion...

    2) I am Proud to be German

    3) Well i'm sorry to hear that, but the German soldiers shouldn't be blamed and don't blame Hitler for those 22 million, that Georgian cunt Stalin should be blamed for those deaths.

    4) Possibly, even results of genetic test's proved that serbians and other slavic nation are not really that related to Poles and Russians, genetically serbians are very close to Romanians.

  • @WodzuUK

    1) If you didnt wanna start the conversation, you woulda kept yourself out. But you didnt!

    2) Kein Problem Junge, keiner verbietet dir das!

    3) I didnt blame Hitler. He is already dead. I blamed you for supporting those who killed so many people and braught such a shame over Germans.

    4) You can keep having children with your sister and you'll stay clean :) besides what big factor are you, little Nazi, to may keep telling me who I am... I know one thing... I am not scheiß Nazi!

  • this is the same as..."Hey look..my tribe has been wearing shoes..haha ! This is my culture, you are all copying!" Its just stupid mate, just to say that russians were the firs to make idols, wear furs and that they had woodcarvers.

  • There is "Pagan Reign". I from Russia, I listen pagan-metall, I will tell to you that among Russian pagan-band nazi music is played only by 8 % NO MORE.

Some people confuse: if play heavy guitar music with voice "growl" such people automatically rank this group to the nazi, but on such logic, nazis become all pagan-metall, black-metall and trash groups.

  • I wish more ppl realized that.

  • SLAWA PERUNOWI

  • heil PERUN , SVAROG & PAGAN REIGN !!!!

  • I love Pagan Reign but what Paganism are they supposed to represent cus it feels like they are doing like ensiferum and using Norse paganism, but with russian influences. I know vikings from sweden had a great influence on the slavic culture, but if that is what they are trying to portray, can please someone tell me

  • they sing about slavic paganism. slavic and norse paganism is very similar. it's all in the same corner of the world.

  • That's true, it's just fascinating how similar they are. And since I don't know russian I was very curious. Thank you!

I do know some slavic paganism, and my favourite character it think was called Vodjanoj, a water spirit

  • Comment removed

  • @VendPrekmurec i agree. it is all the same.

  • @Petrichorus All European pagan faiths have similarities.

  • @BytheBeardofYmir absolutely!

  • @illeistheshizzle

Acctually the Norman (viking is a despective term) went from scandinavia to arabbia (if you watch the movie 13 warriors you'll find out) even they created the city of Novgorod

  • @Draqenfrost Viking was a profession. At home they were Danes, Swedes or Norse, looting on drakaar they were vikings.Novgorod existed long before the Varangian chieftain Rurik made it his capitol, it was used for centuries to trade with the Eastern Roman Empire.

  • @Draqenfrost the city of Novgorod has been mentioned in Russian, European and Byzantine chronicles prior to the invocation of the Vikings. Had been ruled by generations of Russian chieftains before Scandinavian Rurik came, the last one was Gostomysl, who, on his deathbed ordered envoys to be sent to the Vikings because there were no male heirs left to rule ( he lost 4 sons in battles), while his younger daughter Umila was married to Rurik, thats how the Vikings ended up in Russia

  • @illeistheshizzle norse paganism came from slavic paganism. when slavs have spread out through europe alot of different groups were created, such as vikings and celts. All white race has come from one origin which really does not matter what paganism this is. Pagans have same gods but name them differently and have some features different. Thor's hammer and Perun's axe: one god of thunder.

  • @illeistheshizzle should have just googled "Perun" to get your answer.

  • Check out,,,Horn-The Fading Landscapes Glory.

  • Hail!!! Support the Pagan clearness!!!!

  • My understanding is that Perum is similar to Thor....

  • Just on the first look...

  • Yeah they just share the thunder but protoslavic religion is quite different.

  • or similar to zeus...

  • zeus is a pussy...

  • Perun Zeus Hadad (Baal) Thor Set

they all are the same Deity

its just that this Deity was known under different names in different lands and among different peoples and cultures

  • people worshipped thunder in many lands cause it was a very common occurence and even today when we know what it is- we still feel overawed at how loud and powerful it is. its only natural people would develop ideas about it being a god. just because zeus is the god of thunder in greek mythology doesn't mean that he's is the same as thor or perun.

  • NWOBHM2006 - you don't sound to me like a polytheist

if you indeed aren't a polytheist I wonder what do you do watching this video anyway (no insult intended of course)

and btw - Perun is more of a storm God rather then a thunder God

Perun is not thunder itself but rather thunder is simply a manifestation or embodiment of Perun in this world

Perun is the same as Zeus

it is the same Deity he just received a different name among the Greek and just different folk stories we're attributed to him

  • "it is the same Deity he just received a different name among the Greek and just different folk stories we're attributed to him" replace 'Deity' with 'storm, lightning, thunder..anything' and you'll get back to my point. Which is what I'm saying basically...

  • NWOBHM2006 - yes I am aware of what you are trying to say

but your opinion unlikely mine is based on an atheistic view on the Gods denying their existence

so from here on this could only lead to the complicated discussion of religious reason and observation of the natural world which I haven't yet figured out completely myself

  • alright

  • lol, Odin isnt god of thunder.. THOR is god of thnder.. Odin is like Zeus, because hes the king of gods... BTW you may like Concubia nocte - Sekerou Perúna, Kladivom Thóra ;) [By The Axe Of Perun And Hammer Of Thor]

  • btw Vikings actually copy the slavic pagan religion and add few new legends and few new gods ... they are almost the same in rituals ;)

  • Alexander Nevsky kick ass of tampliers knights on the ice of Lake Chudskoje in 1242!!!

  • Sława!

  • awesome band and song

  • Well, I hope the Slavs have better luck keeping their culture alive than the Nordics/Germanic, and Gaelics did. Blarg to immigrations eh.

  • Do the slavics still have Asatro?

  • I thought that the Slavic people had their own Pagan religion. I believe the Germanic/Nordic people believed in a type of Asatru.

  • Oh okay. Thanks :).

  • Asatro (Asa tro) in fact means "loyalty to Aesir" (the Nordic Gods lead by Odin). Slavs have rodnoverje/rodzima wiara (native faith), which is a different religion and set of beliefs. Of course, there are similiarities (as between all Indo-European religions and, to lesser extent, between all polytheistic systems) as well as differences.

  • i feel like a viking

  • Slavic Viking LOL :D

  • POZDRAWIAM WSZYSTKICH SŁOWIAN! Niech żyje Perun! Sława dla was bracia!

  • SLAVIC PRIDE WORLD WIDE!

  • Ne se izražat k nazi rajš rec

    SLAVIC POWER !

  • I agree with acerb. The voice could be deeper. That would fit better together with the music.

    I prefer deeper voices.

  • lucifire6669 has a point! that squeeky norwegian high pitched stuff is out! he needs a deeper voice !! like Amon Amarth!

  • check out the project risen from the ashes of pagan reign. they have low vocals kinda. the band is tverd.

  • yeah amon amarth rules ! cry of the blackbirds in particular but this is good to ! you should try heidevolk ! it's from my country :)

  • The beginning is divine(like the rest of the song)

  • i koji kurac se onda odvajat u 1500 granica

  • SLAVA

  • what the fuck is wrong with that voice!?!?! The song would sound awesome if it weren't for that voice

  • harsh black metal styled vocals dude.

  • neh, that is not the problem. black metal is fine, i just do not like this particular voice.

  • I think the voice fits the song fine

this song is great, does anyone have lyrics?

  • all in russian. i have the album, but i dont think it has the lyrics in it. if i find some, i'll pm you.

  • Great band can you hear that bass at the start (Y)

  • Yes, we were Yugoslavia too...

I think that southern slavic people should gather again, all of us.

  • yes but fuck ns-political this is shit!!!!

  • Hail the pagan brethren!! May the fire never be strangled!!

  • I love this band because unlike Termnozer or Nokturnal Mortum or other pagan metal bands, they arent psychotic nazi's hell bent on killing everyone who isn't a direct descendant of hitler :P

  • Hmm I don't agree with National Socialism in Slavic countries - Hitler hated slavic people, so why would we support him?

  • i don't agree with national socialism at all(for the most part).

  • not many pagan metal bands have national socialistic ideologies. Most of them are not political and usually IF somehow political they are Nationalistics... And yeas Slavic people supporitng hitler is damn stupid shit.

  • This is one of the best songs of that album

  • agreed!
