  • @Hooklineansinker yes but your choices in microphones are limited by the iDevice's ability to provide power to it. If you have a mic that requires too much power you can plug it into a USB hub then plug that into your iDevice.

  • Reaction time is good. But ithink the drums too insensitive and I have to tap pretty hard to play it properly

  • GarageBand for mac gives you more tracks and instruments but I prefer the iPad version because it's so much more natural and fun.

  • All it does is constrain your movements in to making changes that are custom settings that keep you from fucking up any of your decisions. It forces you to be musical, which is fine for non-musicians. It's not a musician's tool.

  • how was the sound reproduction for vocals? if you record vocals to the ipad do they sound good? thats my main concern with the product because garage band (and imovie) is pretty much the only reason why id get the ipad 2? please respond and keep up the good work with your videos

    ipad 2's main advantage is only the cam. and aslong as you have one on your phone you'll be good for a year or so.

  • Does anyone know if you can export your song file to Garageband or Logic? I didn't see any options in the export part in this video.

    I hope so because that would be the main reason for many musicians to use this. As a little 'on the run' sketch pad. Then when you're back in the studio you can export as a project file.

    Also are there any MIDI editing and audio sample editing features in this? Even if only really basic stuff like velocity for MIDI and anchor points.
