@m3nsy He wasn't drunk, ill or high. He had a hard case of laryngitis when the concert was recorded and was very exhausted.

I've seen part of the gig back then in 1982 on TV; it was broadcasted within the geman music TV show "Musikladen" (look it up in Wikipedia, show #74).

Great day - I was 13 and Mommy allowed me to get up at night to watch it :)
