I don't like to use the term "Roid Monkey", but Ronnie Coleman is a roid monkey. Arnie used em, no doubt, but it was an enhancement not the whole plan. Both men are crazy examples of extreme physics. These two are in a totally different class to one another. Arnold is the classic, traditional, original example of what body building is.
Ronnie is the modern "bigger is better" approach. Like all "top" body builders these days, they all have emphasis on size. Its turned body building into a bit of a freak show to be honest.
Both great in their own right, but for me.. The classic wins every time.

@Byizzle16 Ronnie is not even bigger, he just looks bigger because he is shorter, arnold is way taller, which gives him a much bigger stature, ronnie is just like a short little plug, I think as a bodybuilder in order to reach the ultimate body like arnold had, you need to be tall too, or else it will just look badly proportioned and you end up looking like a, yeah, beast.

Ronnie is that big because he took steroids like it was going out of style. Arnie admitted to taking steroids but only in the time he was cutting up for a show to maintain size. A big way you can tell is Coleman's stomach sticks out because his intestines have grown in size from the steroids. Sure Arnie took em a bit, but he did not rely on them to get big and cut. He was a sculptor.

@AndyAngelZ first, arnold competed at around 240lbs. ronnie competes almost 50lbs heavier. and when this is all ripped muscle, that is a tremendous size difference. so yes, ronnie was significantly bigger than arnold. those who say arnold and those guys didn't take steroids, of course they did, just not to the extent of guys today. guys today take much greater amounts plus many other drugs.
