looks like a paradise story where king of the jungle becoming friends with men, makes me meditate how amazing God really is,love, friendship will remain in us no matter what .NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THE EYES OF GOD
Does anyone know if this store where the lion was kept was 498 King's Road It is now an Antiques store with a lion statue in the picture window. It can be seen on google maps.
That sounds like it matches the description in the book, so it's probably the same store, or at least the same site. Does it say anything about Christian in the store?
Yeah, they explain it in the book and in a documentary on Animal Planet. Christian still recognized them, but it was clear he was a lot more independent and wild.
After that visit, Christian was never seen again.
He was one of the biggest lions ever, so if poachers killed him, they would have heard someone bragging about it. No one did, so it's safe to say he died a natural death in the wild. (Lions live 12-15 years.) The way it should be.
it makes me cry too.. i love it..

It's pathetic that the network gave this story just 5 minutes on the show. How could whatever was "coming up next" be more interesting than this??

Was Christian like half lion or something because at :23 he has spots like that of a leopard.
