#439 - Altec Lansing FX6021 2.1 Speaker System

why are my altec lansing speakers making a wind noise everytime I touch the wires in the back. I would simply lift the wires to sweep the floors and a "wind effect" sound comes out of the subwoofer. Sounds like if you were to blow into a microphone. What's wrong? how do I fix this?

mine got vs 4121blk and octane 7, and it overpowered my edifier 3200 and logitec z523.

Before you waste money on logitech 2.1 systems, buy this...

12 micro drivers, instead of 2 drivers with 4 pressure drivers in it...

For this price very bad speakers. They do not sound natural. They unnatural emphesize high frequency tones (they make tssssssss), they emphesize hum and they produce hum. For me god speakers should sound possible natural. They do not do this. The music and voice do not soundsrealistic. the most important middle tones are very bad. You could not cheat the physic. From such thin speakers we receive only thin sound.

my uncle has bose and his bass is shity but sound is nice. there both got there good sides

but I prefer the altec cause no matter how loud you turn up the volume the bass and vocal main speakers are clear none like BOSE & I'm not even trying to diss them but it's the truth.

but.. the cyber acoustic systems ive found have the best durability and never rattle. they are the best ones ive ever had out of 10 different brands. sq, durability, bass q and looks wise they are the best.

ive had a lot of theyre systems and theyre always simple and sturdy made. and are always good-superior for theyre price..kinda like the peoples car..non ever broke.never any problems. thanks altec!. all ill buy.

I bought these yesterday. I wasn't expecting much from the sub, but I was very surprised. It's statifying by all means. I think it's great. When I maxed the sub, one of my broken spotlights lighted up.. cheers! Yes, there's better subwoofers, if you're looking for "bass monsters" you should look somewhere else. I don't think it's weak at all though. In fact, it's powerful for home listening. It's great in my opinion.
