  • win!

  • Gary, you go! You had been rolling with laughter on short presentation video above. At 5 years old I did the same biz as a child. Pulled the flowers out of my neighbors yard and attempted to sell them back to them. Caught quite a bit of hell for that from my neighbors & my parents:-) Thanks for your honest, no nonsense presentation.

  • i love this!!!!

  • did i understand that right???

did he just call him a dooshbag???

  • The guy in the audience is the man!!

  • MY most FAVORITE - part of that talk!!!!

  • Gary, I f***ing love your integrity and delivery. You're a huge breath of fresh air in the 'inspiring talk' circles. Rock on, man :)

  • @ryzeonline Thnx for getting it pal :)

  • Just another reason why Gary is so great - his honesty.

  • The irony is the guy did get 15k views, you know what they say, bad press is better than no press. Forgot about a lot of this myself.

  • I bet thanks to Gary this guy goes on to big things, assuming he learned his lesson. sometimes you gotta take it on the chin, then get back in the game. well done gary.

  • I don't think you can drive your point home more so than in this video. I totally agree with you on all of your points. I do have one question though, kind of random, but still valid. Were you one of the guys behind the special presentation on CNBC's "Customer Disservice"? Watching that I couldn't help but think of the points you made in your book.

  • Maybe Gary's next book will be called, "The F**K YOU ECONOMY?" ;-)

  • I was curious the first time I heard this presentation so I checked out his twitter account. He hadn't used it since July..

You're not even active on it and you ask The Man for a shout out? Doesn't make sense..

I looked up the other guys in the Q&A of this same day and I don't think they even had Twitter. I hope they do now, it's 2012.

  • @TeteFutuito Oh is little tito jealous of Gary because he's successful, speaking to a rapt crowd, and you're borrowing from mommy at 36?

You are what's wrong with the internet. Loser.

  • @TeteFutuito I wish u knew me my man, and I wish YT had real identity to I could apologize that I came across this way to you in person :( I Hope we cross paths

  • @TeteFutuito wow, just wow. how you could come to that conclusion i have no idea.

  • People are like that here on YouTube asking me all the time to share their videos and channels with people. That's not how it works.

  • @AGentertainment it sure isn't

  • GARY IS THE MAN!

  • @benmaxime :) thank u

  • @benmaxime You even respond on YouTube, inspiring.

  • Love that Response! Gary you are King!

  • LOL! Roll deep my friend, roll deep. @redmonkeyfoods has only tweeted 83 times. I don't see what there is to read to make me want to follow.

  • Best line at a conference ever "Next time you go to the social media bar, don't be a douche bag, roll deep..." --Gary Vaynerchuk

  • #Douche

  • Gary maybe you were right when you shook your head "NO" when we took Sanchez...

  • There is always one in the crowd, and I am always happy it's not me

  • I like to label these "douchecanoes"

  • Wow - this put dialogue, faces, and a response to how a lot of people operate on Twitter. Awesome video - sharing it now! Best part about it is you manage to slaughter the guy AND build him up at the same time. I bet he learned.

  • @DanGheesling i hope he did

  • Some believe a RT is the magic wand that will propel their 'ordinary' business/product into success. There are artist with +10M Twitter followers but their albums don't go platinum, or even gold. So what does that tell us. RTs & followers don't automatically equal success. Thanks for the lesson G.V.

  • @henrooo 100% RT and mentions are sprints, building a brand is a marathon, that and context of the tweet really matters

  • I know several guys like that...they listen, they nod their heads but then they want your plan on cold calls or door knocking. Glad you tempered, (somewhat) but glad you shot him down in flames.
