@shari7manu I bought a 2007 cbr600rr for my first bike, I love it, absolutely no complaints! its a very easy to ride, and very smooth bike compared to other 600's that ive ridden. I still have the bike and i probably wont get rid of it until they revamp the 600rr again. also.. i second that opinion on the 2bros sounding better than yosh or akra on a cbr. rep it!

Ugh...I miss my 2008 Silver/black 600 RR....I had that same pipe. Sounded phenomenal. I also had the Rumble concepts fender elim. with powerz stuntworks race rails, and flush mount blinkers, and the scorpio alarm.....Best bike i've owned.
@skyline44512 I'm trying to decide between a Hot Bodies MOTOGP Growler and a Two Brothers slip on exhaust.. Since YouTube doesn't have good quality audio its hard to tell which one actually sounds like a good exhaust and which one sounds like a fart can. From what I've seen, the Hot Bodies is more of the latter while the Two Brothers is an actual exhaust. Input?

Choosing a pipe from major manufacturers is about personal preference for look and sound. The difference in power is pretty much non-exist between slip-ons. I don't like how the yoshi or akra sounds on this bike, but if I had an R6 I'd get a Yoshimura. For the CBR, two bros!

@skyline44512 exhaust systems for bikes are not about the power because by the time you spend enough for 5-10 hp you could already have bought the next bike! But akra is the best power gain out of all the systems, but are pricey
@skyline44512 Personally i had an R6 and the akra sounded very clean with lots of low pitch revs. It made it sound alil meatier. But like you said its all preference in how you want your bike to sound.

I've got an 08 Ninja 650R right now, and I'm starting to get the urge to upgrade too. I just put some new Bridgestone BT016s on my bike, so I guess I'll hang on to it for a while longer. The 650 treated me well, but I'm getting jealous of CBRs and ZXs these days. Soon.....

hi ! you have only exhaust or it's a full system install ? cause the sound is awesome in high rpm ,and i think i will be buy the same exhaust and install on my orange & black new colour....
@paneksshops This is actually a full system, but doesn't really sound much different from the slip-on only. Race system is a bit louder, but IMO that nice deep tone is the same.
the CBR600RR is a lot faster, looks better, and handles better. It's really comfortable for a supersport, as comfortable or almost as comfortable as the 650R
Sigh. I use to own this bike. One nite, a barb wire fence and I got into an "argument" lol. The fence won. Still rode it home, cut and scraped to hell. Anyways, AMAZING bike. Superb handling, great throttle response, instant torque and comfy too. I also highly recommend a Two Bro's slip on. It sounds so much meaner than the other slip ons and looks great too. I went with the carbon fiber one tho. Sexiest sound around. Loud=Safe... oh, and head turning! :D
Hey man im about to start looking for a bike. Ive never ridden one before so im not sure what to get. Im 6"3', 230 lbs and ive heard a 600 would be okay to start off on. What you think?
My first was suzuki bandit 600. Very capable bike you will not get bored with it quickly! They run at around 80bhp. They sound awesome, will keep up with most things and are reliable as hell. Also good on long journeys and they do about 50mpg. Im about to upgrade to a 600rr and i'm reasonably experienced now so i don't know 600rr might be too fast as in for someone who might get carried away and plant it into a tree at 160mph. Bandit will still do 0-62 in 3.9 sec and 140mph top speed!
haha. well it was a combination of high rpm acceleration, top speed, handling, and a false rumor of better gas mileage. i was told i could get 50-60mpg on the CBR, and i average 40 with stock tuning, 35 with a performance fuel map :(

I would have liked to stay with the Kawi family, and if I did I would have gotten a ZX6R (the 636, not new). The 636 was awesome, but the CBR is much more comfortable, and has better handling (partially thanks to the HESD on the CBR). The 636 is still my second choice for a 600 (even though it's not technically a 600)
it's much louder, and it's a deeper tone than most of the other cans for this bike. i've heard 6-7hp gain, but that's unconfirmed because i didn't have it dynoed stock so i'll never be sure. the performance gain isn't really noticeable to me, but i didn't ride it much stock. put thousands of miles on in the last week, riding down to TN and NC all over ---including the dragon. vids coming soon

Considering your size, a 600 might be your only real option. Possibly a 500 like a Suzuki GS500F...
but alot of people start on 600's. Just take it easy for a while ;)

I would have liked to stay with the Kawi family, and if I did I would have gotten a ZX6R (the 636, not new). The 636 was awesome, but the CBR is much more comfortable, and has better handling (partially thanks to the HESD on the CBR). The 636 is still my second choice for a 600 (even though it's not technically a 600)

it's much louder, and it's a deeper tone than most of the other cans for this bike. i've heard 6-7hp gain, but that's unconfirmed because i didn't have it dynoed stock so i'll never be sure. the performance gain isn't really noticeable to me, but i didn't ride it much stock. put thousands of miles on in the last week, riding down to TN and NC all over ---including the dragon. vids coming soon

Thanks, I like them better than any supersport on the planet...so it was my dream bike and I finally got it.
Excellent usage of "tits" by the way. Many people throw it in where it doesn't belong :)
