I'd recommend getting under there and painting everything. Also, find a stainless steel belt clamp to put between the exhaust tip and that U clamp.

I put the same kit on mine, painted everything after about a year, then a year and a half later the exhaust tip literally broke off in my driveway when I started (due to vibration weakening the weld). Also one of the bends in the tailpipe has rusted through, as well as the section between the tip weld and the U clamp.
