Michael jordan is the best kobe bryant 2nd best and lebron james gotta win a championship and if he doesn't with d. wades team then he's not even close to jordan and kobe
@shine2345 MJ never avg 9 rebounds or assist in 88-89 it was just 8 in both rebounds and assist in 88-89. But still is something that kobe has never done and never will.
@Tade95 lebron james is the greatest player to date, he averages more rebounds and assists than jordan, he shoots at almost the same percentage, and his fg percentage is getting better by the year, he is bigger, faster, stronger and is simply a more dominating basketball specimen, lebron would crush jordan one on one
@KingsChamps02 first of all NO. he absolutely wouldnt beat him one on one. and even if he could, its a team game, 5 on 5. jordan is fantastic and actually wins awards AND championships. ( the object of any sport is to win, which a lot of people forget.)
@KingsChamps02 looooooooool...your an idiot...jordan literaly changed the game so lebron scores that many points because of jordan.look at the jordan rule
im a big Robinson fan and i know its an all star game but why does he have to hold Robinson from making a play on Pippen...a block in an all star game is just as axciting as a dunk
Aww what's the matter? Kobe's capitulation in the 2008 NBA Finals still hurtin'?
Kobe can keep his 81 points against a horribly weak Raptors team. I think Jordan is VERY happy with his SIX NBA rings and SIX Finals MVP awards thank you very much! :)
Nope.. Not At All.. I knew that the had little to NONE chance of winning that series. And Everyone from the Lakers struggled thats why Kobe didnt get much help. Gasol was trash compared to Garnett, Odom was trash against the Pierce and we didnt have anyone to guard Perkins. I didnt even expect the Lakers to make the finals and they did. And Im very happy with that. When Bynum comes back we're gonna dominate. Also, I would take Rodman, Pippen and Kukoc than Gasol and Odom ALL DAY!
Yeah well, considering that pretty much EVERYONE was stating how the Lakers would win that NBA Finals in 5 games, I'm finding it difficult to believe your statement.
And what IS IT with you Kobe homers that as soon as something bad happens to the Lakers and Kobe's hopes of trying to emulate Jordan, it's suddenly the TEAM'S fault? That Kobe didn't get the support he needed.
Wasn't Gasol one of the players Kobe DEMANDED to be brought in? So, you're saying he isn't GOOD enough for him now?
Believe it or not, BOTH TEAMS big stars struggled in those Finals, Garnett and Pierce in particular had plenty of duff games during the series, so I'm not buying the whole "Gasol was trash" angle your bringing here. And if memory serves me correctly, Odom was one of the few CONSISTENT performers for the Lakers in the Finals, especially in Game's 3,4 and 5.
Face it, when it came time for Kobe to produce the goods, he flopped in the Finals... Again. :)
And anyway, if Kobe was "The Man" as so many of you guys seem to think he is, why would he need to have Andrew Bynum to be back to achieve that? I mean, Bynum was putting up some good numbers before the season-ending injury, sure... But I thought Kobe was good enough to carry the team on his back when need be, like MJ did on so many occasions.
It's as if Kobe can't achieve greatness in the Finals unless he has a dominating presence in the middle, something that Jordan did throughout his career.
Oh yeah, one more thing... Jordan really only had Pippen, Grant (who wasn't an All Star at the time) and a bunch of role players during the first three-peat. For the second three-peat, he had Pippen, a long past his athletic prime Rodman, Kukoc and an even LONGER list of role players... role players who were nowhere NEAR the level of Odom, Gasol, Fisher and the strong bench the Lakers had this year.
So until Kobe can even achieve HALF the things Jordan did, he'll always be Shaq's sidekick. :)
Toni Kukoc better that Lamar?? lmao you gotta be kidding.. Lamar has the body frame to be a superstar but he doesnt have the IQ and the confidence to be one. Kukoc was a good scorer. And Rodman?? I'd take Dennis Rodman over Pau Gasol if we're going against a team like the celtics cuz Rodman plays good D. And yea the Lakers had an awesome bench but where were they when the Finals came?? Farmar choked, Walton choked, Sasha [Choked except for game 3] and every one else did.
Sorry. I didn't mean to suggest that Odom is a mere role player, I named the major players on the Lakers, then mentioned the rest as a strong bench, which is still pretty much a better all round team than Jordan had on both three-peat squads.
Kukoc was a good scorer, true, but he was himself a pretty fragile character too. Yet he was able to help the 95-96 to a 72-10 season and a championship.
Rodman played good D, but couldn't score. Gasol is a good scorer AND a better defender than he seems.
Hey, wait a second. The Lakers bench didn't really choke... Game's 3, 4 and 5 were all characterized by the way the rest of the Lakers' team played so effectively against the Celtics superstars, and how Kobe didn't really contribute much (other than in Game 3). The only really disappointing role player for the Lakers was Radmanovic who might as well have been a spectator during that series.
Kukoc was also a great passer which is essential in the triangle offense, Lamar is inconsistent because of all that sugar he eats! lol but Lamar can be really good and then really bad at times.
And dont call me a fucking homer.. How did I become a homer?? I'm just stating my views about the finals! So.. You're stating your views in the finals right?? That makes you a fucking HOMER too.. =]
Hey, I apologize for calling you a homer... You're actually sounding like a reasonable and articulate Lakers fan, which makes such a refreshing change from the rabidly stupid idiots who often comment on this particular subject. :)

you've got this titled as Jordan being worst passer, and yet there all stunning passes? sarcasm for the haters, or just mild retardation?

@ryanloweseibert some people just want attention, by any means necessary. Even if the title is absolutely nothing like the video.
Awesome passes by the GOAT though.
yoe91 9 months ago
you don't have to average a lot of assists to be a great passer. Jordan is a terrific passer, he just thinks score first.
Kobeownzu81 1 year ago
Jordan needed to score so his passing was secondary to his team then him putting up monster scoring numbers and rebounding and leading the team

Jordan wasn't a good passer, a few clips don't prove anything.
