School lasting "literally all day" and having no gym or sports is very unspecified kind-of amateurish suggestion. Is it suggested that this was the case in the whole world, Europe, England or only in the school Shakespeare attended? And if school lasted all day and had no gym class, that's not very different from today.
Also, a family of 7 kids in the 1500's weren't considered huge at all. More than 7 kids were not uncommon.
Where does all this info come from? 3rd grade bio. Good ending though.
Actually I did deep research on this. It was just a project for english after we read romeo and juliet. It wasn't a compare and contrast video but thanks for informing youtubers of that. Saved me some time there. My information is correct, I just worded it differently. But thanks for being so rude. It just comes to show where cyber bullying comes from. :]
The parts regarding hygiene and the annual black baths are not just highly questionable but ridiculous. Question all sources of information, people.
In the 1500's people may not have taken "sofisticated" chemical bubble-baths like today, but the historically indicated "awful worldwide health" of the past million years are highly exaggerated. People lived with nature and had a strong immune system because of all the natural germs their bodies were in contact with.
@111NoOne111 not so much. William Shakespeare was a virtually illiterate grain merchant. His entire literary works consist of seven signatures he signed on legal documents in almost illegible penmanship. The academic community largely accepts that Edward De Vere, the Earl of Oxford, used that name as a nom de plume.

@jazzfolkrocker
Absolute, total drivel. The "academic community" regards Oxfordians with the utter contempt that they deserve.
