Actually Mongols hats were a little bit different Khergits are wearing old turkish warriors hats After all that game made in Turkey xD But yes if yu dont know the difference it can be hard to tell who is who :)

Mongols were wearing really heavy armors and umm I dont know how to describe but their hats had something like an animal tail but yea they were wearing almost same armors but you can say the difference with looking hats old Turks had te same hats with Khergits but yea even me sometimes cant say the difference if I cant see their hats xD

Until the day your enemies send in assassins to kill you. I'm so happy I killed my assassins. They friggin scared me...I'm just walking to the armour store in town then these 5 guys pop outta a corner and randomly attack me. But after I killed them it said "You find an amount of money in their bags, must've been their previous target's money, or the money an enemy of yours paid them" or something like that.

I see it a little differently.

Swadians=archetypal image of medieval English French or german knights,plate armour heavy cavalry pot helms etc.

Kherigit=correct,mongols.

Rhodoks=Russia,their symbol is the Bear the modern day symbol of Russia.

Vaegir=Who knows,eastern Europe maybe.

Nords=anyone who says they're anything else than vikings should just give up on life.

hmm, i guess theres a lot of overlapping because english used longbows adn the swadians only have crossbows.

As for Russia, they used mounted troops and dont really share any military correlation to the rhoddoks. Russia didn't really use crossbows. Italy however, spearmen and crossbows were their thing.

I'd say the Swadians were more German than anything else. No longbowmen so they are not English, and the placenames don't sound remotely French. Spain is a bit far out, this game is sort of centered around Poland and its borders.

Rhodoks are a difficult one. i would say they are Hungarian/Serbian, not Italian.

Vaegirs are predominatly Russian i believe. But their Lamellar armour means they probably have links with the Byzantines. So they are a mix of eastern Europe.

The other two are obvious.

Um... this was before the game came to stores/steam, version .960. And the mod I used in this clip was called Total War. It added basically what is known to be the main faction game that is sold today.
