  • starring like an idiot at the derailleur

  • when ur front wheel is on the air just push ur hands front..that's all..:)

  • Nice, try hopping and flicking the bike around to face the other way once landed, that's a bit more interesting!

  • what frame and fork(travel) are you using with this bike farmerhaffey? reply is highly appreciated...thank you..

  • Are you in Lawrenceville, NJ at the EPS jumps?

  • с отскока-то не велик труд))) ты с жестью попробуй

  • nice

  • please help

i have a 15kg DJ and its a fixed fork, im just wondering is it a good choice to get a front suspension for better jump?

  • Nice helmet

  • Recommend a chain tensioner, nice jump

  • thumbs up if you can do it better :D

  • It's a lot easier to do on a bike with front suspension, as the rebound will launch your front wheel off the ground. Harder for a bike with no suspension or with a stiff fork.

  • @gabberis

Are you serious? I am a BMX rider and I got a BH about a wheel maaybe a lil more (BMX WHEEL)

But I tried wit hmy friends HT Bike DIdnt do more than 11" =\

I all most died! it was hard as hell! It is harder to lift the fornt wheel since you have to pull out the suspension out...

Maybe there is another technique for a MTB but For now I see as BMX as the best BIKE and the easiest Bike to do a BH on.

  • @ElectraZona It's mostly a matter of preference. I don't ride BMX, so I can't do a high BH on it. When I try, I lift the front way too much and have to bail off the bike, since I don't pull up the rear wheel in time to balance out. MTBs have a longer wheelbase and they're what I'm used to, so using my freeride HT I have no problem BH-ing over a 24" street bike.

  • called a j-hop

  • got the same bike. and proud of it

  • is this possible whit a mtb classic? thanks

  • look at his chain wen he lands

  • Nigga stole mi bike!

  • i just cant get my back wheel up : ( please help i have a specialized rock hopper i can get my front wheel high as hell

  • @daleovdedead you don't need to get the front wheel up very high if you've just started, all that does is push the back wheel down. Just lift it up a little and simultaneously lean forward and push back on the pedals. Think about lifting the whole bike up at the same time rather than just the front wheel then the back wheel. You'll only be able to hop about an inch at the beginning but keep practicing.

  • I got a black market solider dirt jumper bike 2010 edition, is that a good bike?

  • rlly good suspension niceee

  • nice

  • nice suspension :j

  • what is your fork and what tires do you use?

  • noob!...

  • nice....

  • Napnij łancuch bo przerzutka lata Ci jak szmata :D

  • agree

  • Здорово !

  • eeeeeeee what is this

  • ALRIGHT. This is a J-hop. Not bunny hop. A J-hop and a bunny hop are different.

  • @YoungAndGoingPro you took the words right out of my mouth

  • did you use the brake?

  • @Th3ToxicToast mmm can think of many bikes better than that...

  • NORCO EMPIRE 5 SE my bike = best bike

  • nice bike what bike is it?

  • thats a yankee not a bunny hop!

  • WHAT BIKE?

  • Load of shit

  • merci

  • i learned how to do this in like 5 minits on a bike with no chain or breaks becease my good bike was in the shop

once you get the hang of it its really easy

  • It's really easy to lift your rear wheel off the ground, to start out go slow then bend your knees and pull your front Wheel up like you were to do a wheely, then simotaniously lean forward and push backwards on your pedals. Yu will flatten out when the gravity starts pulling down.

Hopefully this helps, just keep practising XD

  • @XR4MP4G3X gravity is constantly pulling down.

  • bunnyhoping to me is wierd i tried it on a bmx and then i went to my mtb after i got frustrated and it just came to me and i could do it then i coulncdt and now i cant

  • thanks man,i get it now.

  • CHAIN SLAP!!!

  • can u do this on a street bike or only mt bikjes

  • @HaloRocksCodSucksKoK you can do this on any bike i have seen guys bunnyhop on to picnic tables with road raceing bikes same principals

  • Hi, after practicing afew hours i manage to do a bunnyhop but barely. any tips how i can increase the height of my bunnyhop?

    thanks appreciately! =)

  • @faziwuzy138 Practice. That is the ONLY way you are going to get the motion engrained. Honestly, it's hard for me to even imagine the motion I go through to jump because it's so deep in my muscle memory that I don't ever think about it any more.

  • @FalseBuddha okay thanks! i will practice =)

  • Does anyone know how many inches the bike has?

  • @waleNzlol Are you talking about his fork travel? It looks to be 120mm(4.72 inches) but no more than 140mm 5.5 inches.)

  • @imanranbecks - I'm not a tremendous bunny hopper, but I can get the back wheel off the ground. Heres a tip that helped me: instead of thinking about "pushing" your front end down, think about "pulling" the back end up. Point your toes down, and press backwards against the petals and scoop upwards with your feet (at the same time) to lift the back end up off the ground. Hope that helps.

  • der höchste bunny hop :)

  • In slow motion it sounds like pacman.

  • why i aint able to bunnyhop?!!!! (i'am 4 years old)

  • machen Sattel runter -> springste höher

  • This video is really helpful, especially the slow motion part :)

  • i like bike

    GIVE ME THE BIKE!

  • oh, now i get it, when you pull up, you have to lean back a little to actually pull the front end high enough,, THANKS FOR THE VID MAN...

  • @TagumTrailRider You can also lean forward to compress the forks and "spring up" then lean back to get a few more inches.

  • You can also lean forward and compress the forks to "spring up" then lean back with the momentum, then bring the back end up.

  • to do a bunny hop, pull your front wheel off the ground and while it is in the air jump on your rear wheel. once you start lifting up, just relax for the moment of airtime then brace for the drop.

  • To get your back wheel up, the most important thing to remember is try to hook your toes around the pedals, push back, this will keep your feet on the pegs then all you got to do is lif up with you legs. you can practice stationary aswell

  • cant fuckin lift the back wheel on my bmx

  • @sizGDJ pull ur front tire up high as u can and shift ur weight

  • @sizGDJ Push backwards with your feet after you have pulled front wheel up :)

  • what kind of bike?

  • @wilsontennis31992

    Specialized P2. I guess.

  • yeah! amazing video!

i watch it a lot, and finally i can do the bunny hop!

    thank you very much!

  • Nice video sir now i understand how to bunny hop well

  • I COULD BUNNYHOP YOUR MOM

  • Dayum nice bike O_O i are jealous. lol

  • watch?v=JCJTgGo9wnU

  • its easy, u just gotta pull ur bike back with ur butt, it means like pulling the bike back with your whole weight, then u gotta like jump up, the bike will follow, its a weird thing to think about but just do it, once u will get it right it will be a natural feeling, if u got the right technique down, ull be jumping everything after small practice

  • my grandma can do 2 times better

  • nice bike

  • skaczesz jak ciota!! podskocz na 70cm to pogadamy!!

  • @dualjump nakrec i pokaz jak ty skaczesz

  • man i wish i got a disk brakes

  • WHY CAN'T I GET THIS HIGH

  • i cant get the front wheel up can u please help me with it

  • Comment removed

  • I can also sorta picture myself as if, trying to twist the handlebars forward as im getting the back tire up.

maybe it helps with pulling the bike up.

  • Duuuh that's a BMX

  • @Leg0guy1 That's MTB Hardtail ! =))

  • @Leg0guy1 thats not a bmx lol

  • What sucks is i wish i could do them like this but i do my bunnyhops differently, well idk differently i just cant get my back tire AS high as these vids

  • I learned this in two days. Start of by going slow speed, then press the front brake and try to lift the rear wheels as high as you can. Once you can do this somehow, try doing it without the front brake. Once you got that done, combine pulling up the front, and liftimng the rear

  • your rear derailer looks like a cheap piece of crap... im suprised it didnt fall off

  • i was having trouble getting the rear wheel up so i got a real ssmall bike and practiced with it then moved back to my big bike

  • Comment removed

  • what catagorie would this bike fall into?

  • @ehrulz i'd say it's a slopestyle-bike with 160mm fork..

    kind of strange..

  • it helps me lift the rear wheel by pointing my toes down as i jump and smearing/scooping my feet against the pedals as i tuck my legs up into my body. I practiced this technique to where i can raise the rear quickly while rolling, then combined both the lift of the front and the lift of rear into a bunny hop.

  • how many KG is ur bike?

  • lamme!!

  • full suspensions are a lot easier to use in doing a bunny hop. :) better try it. I've done it many times.

  • cool man i learned it when saw in slowmo...i know at least to do with MTB and BMX a lil higher

  • Thats sick:D

  • Its so hard to do it on a Downhill Hardtail MTB.

I don't realise but i'm like going 3'' off the ground. Argh!!!!

  • try with full suspension

  • me* xD

  • it's a mondraker?

    i have a mondraker play 3 2008 and i can't do a bunny hop

    help my please T_T

  • i can do that on a bmx but , can't on my mtb tips?

  • to get the rear wheel up just keep practicing with your front brake..Drive slowly then use front brake and it will help you to pull the rear wheel up.Now all you have to do is to push it harder so it will go higher..Keep practicing like that and you'll get it how it goes..One night I was bored and went on my bike and I did that..Now I can even do a bunny hop.

    Hope i helped

  • @masterfan2 Don't think that' the best way to learn a bunny hop,

you should learn pulling your reaar wheel up whitout touching your brakes

just angle your feet on the pedals and try it that way

first u can try standing still if you're not confident

I thougt i'dd never learn to do it but now i can so ;)

  • no! no frontbrake i mean yoú pull up the front first and after that pull up the back. allso, if you wanna go fast over something you can't use the frontbrake unless you are the master of brake bunnies...

  • @endrachwer well I said how to get rear wheel up for begginers. After u get it how it goes(pulling rear whell off the ground) ,u can easily pull it without brakes and jump over something

  • @masterfan2 then after try without brakes, thats how i learned

  • @ikswotianop yep that's how i did it too

  • @masterfan2 you dont need brakes for a bunny hop dumbass

  • @MegaMarxist First learn English and then read it again.

  • @masterfan2 i can read just fine. and i know enough about biking that you dont need a front brake to bunny hop. i learned how to bunny hop about a foot all on my own with a brakeless haro. once you get the motion, you will naturally improve where you feel the need.

  • i also cant pull off a decent bunny hop i get like an inch or 2 max

  • I can never get the rear wheels to come up no matter how many times I tried this over the years.. Aargh!!!

  • point your toes to the ground after you front tire is off, and put your crotch to your handle bars,, it should even you out and hopefully get your back tire off

  • same =/

  • you have to think like you and your bike are a shockbraker you push in the rigth way and ''wip out'' and you wipp the rear wheel

  • Use your back foot to pull up, angle your back foot facing down a little to give leverage. Look at the way the guy in the video uses his right foot to pull up.

  • lol same with me exept i cant get myne high enough Aargh!!!

  • @imranbecks its just practice, all you need to do is pull up high enough, look at my vids, look how low I do it

  • @imranbecks that was my problem too but try, try, and try! perhaps if you pull your whole body in front while pushing up the front wheel it will work...

    good luck

  • @imranbecks because ur just so dam fat lol jk i have the same trouble too

  • @imranbecks look at his feet, at 0:10 they are horizontal at 0:14 his feet compared to bike are angled. push your angled feet beck into pedals(not down, but oposite direction of your handles), and you will bind feet to pedals. then in air just crouch knees, and back wheel is in air. then it is just practice

  • @imranbecks Its easy man,i cant do it with my bike, but with my friends bike i can do it,try to do a bunnyhop and ollie will be like reverse bhow xP

  • @imranbecks its not that hard u just need the pedals in a 45 degree angle and then u have 2 get ur feet up

  • @imranbecks i learned to bunny hop by acident when i was 10

one of these acidents also happend to me when i tryed out my friends skatebord(i suck at skating) and acidently did a kickflip somehow(never did it again

  • @3picFailiNLiFe I gotta say that it is easier done with clipless pedals though... But still not as perfect as the one in the video...

  • @imranbecks man you got to do a game with the pedals and put your weight in the front

  • @imranbecks you need to push your feet backwards, towards the pedals and then up a little.. when you push your feet back, make sure the pedals are tilted forward.

  • @imranbecks you have to pull it with your feet look carefuly his feet

  • @imranbecks dam sorry but ur jus den pathetic

  • @bigloc650 And you're not pathetic? What a loser.. Leave your negative comments and insults at the door.

  • @imranbecks EYY IT AINT MY FAULT UR SORRY ASS HAS BIN BIKING FOR THAT ONG NOW N STILL KANT DO DIS LOL

  • @imranbecks scoop my friend SCOOP :)

  • @imranbecks Try lifting your handle bar while in mid air, I was able to do it that way.

  • nice hop :)

read the comment... im kinda new 2 biking, whats the dif between a bunny hop and a j-hop, i mean whats a j-hop?

  • It's like a bunny hop. It's also called bronco hop.

  • j hop is the same as a bunny hopbut when you land your front wheel hets the floor first

  • THANKS UR GOOOD

  • eh possibly... honestly, no matter what bike im on, im comfortable bunnyhopping

  • sorry to disagree, but thats actually false. based on ur wheelbase size you can either get mor or less pop out of ur bike

  • thats a bunny hop, thats the normal behavior of the fork, knowing the technique, you can bunny a BMX or a DH bike.

  • That's not mtb it's a dirt jumper but nice b jump

  • please someone help me i couldnt od bunny hop so i did put video to youtube check it out and help ! PLEASE!

  • that was a j-hop

  • he is launching himself with the from shock try it with streetbike without shocks.

  • thats just preloading thats not even a bunny hop

  • lern to land

  • lern to spel

  • watch how low his front tire goes on the slow-mo bunny hop from the spring. not saying that he is cheating but that helped him a lot. good vid though 5/5

  • it is helpful to just watch it in slowmotion because it is hard to see all the details in real

  • Hes using the suspension id like to see him do that on a bmx bike.

  • i can bunyhop more on the bmx than mtb

  • its easier for me to bhop a bmx than my mtb...much small bike easier to whip it up higher

  • duhu , that's why the video has MTB and bunnyhop in it ..

  • Specialized P????

  • looks like a p3

  • i can bunny hop about 20cm, but cos its a BMX it flipping kills my ass when i land wrong :P

i wanna be able to bunny hop like half a meter (yn) so then i can actually use bunny hops for everyday use ;-) lol

  • Wtch my video in slow motion =)

  • Is this better than a kona shred ? :)

  • i have the 2009 kona shred but for some reason its really hard for me to pull up the frot tier im about 5'6 in a half ??? i dunno why Frame size : 16 '

  • practice

  • Norco?

  • nice thx for showing ! i have lot of difficulty to do a "bunnyup" .. im prolly not strong enought to get up my bike in the air ! XD what ever =P

    nice bike dude! =D

  • nice bike and this was the best bunny hop vid for mtb ive seen yet thanks

  • no any gd street forks ? nd r they better rijid or soft
