This whole story is a clear example of nasty East Coast peevishness being imported into the clean-driven Midwest, where a normal person would (1) not be so paranoid as to have 8 security cameras and (2) even with cameras, just ask the neighbor for the shovel back, assuming, as he should have, that it was a simple mistake not to return it.

I applaud the homeowner . I had a great shovel for over 4 years until I came back home one day and found out that someone came on to my property, extended themselves over the locked gate, and stole my shovel (they did however replace it with a broken cheap shovel). The so called "neighbor" got what she deserved. Perfect punishment.

So, the guy is upset that the woman stole his $20 shovel so goes out and buys a $400 snow blower to bury her car? a Snow blower that he never thought of getting before this? Why not do the unexpected and dig her car out for her? She wouldn't know what to think and feel guilty rather planning her next attack on him!

This whole story is a clear example of nasty East Coast peevishness being imported into the clean-driven Midwest, where a normal person would (1) not be so paranoid as to have 8 security cameras and (2) even with cameras, just ask the neighbor for the shovel back, assuming, as he should have, that it was a simple mistake not to return it.

@SpunkMeat Look I'm from Chicago, i've lived here for 21 years. If you live here you know how the snow is. A car buried in snow is nothing unusual, it's easy to clear your car out. It's not going to damage ur car, it's just a pain in the ass. Last weeks storm was so rediculous you couldn't imagine, I spent 3 hours plowing my driveway.
Stealing someone's shovel in the middle of a blizzard is a big deal. It can mean being stranded in your home and missing work. This man's a hero in my book

I applaud the homeowner . I had a great shovel for over 4 years until I came back home one day and found out that someone came on to my property, extended themselves over the locked gate, and stole my shovel (they did however replace it with a broken cheap shovel). The so called "neighbor" got what she deserved. Perfect punishment.

I don't get how it took 4 hours. The time stamp shows she unburied most of the car in half an hour. Nice revenge but 4 hours? I've had my car buried naturally by mother nature and it didn't take 4 hours to unbury it and it was way more buried than that.
