I think guys overthink and try to muscle it or just dont listen to what you tell them...women are certainly better first time shooters. I really dont know why either. Maybe they just relax easier than guys do.
@wiley743 A person's sex really has no indication of how that person handles heavy recoil. There are plenty of women who can fire a 12 gauge slug, a .500 S&W Magnum handgun, or a .338 Lapua rifle with ease, and there are plenty of men who can't even handle a 9mm pistol (or anything even marginally more powerful than a .22 LR).
.454 Casull can be quite punishing, especially in a short-barreled revolver like this.

I think you are kinda saying the same thing though that there are women who can handle recoil better on a gun like a magnum and some guys who cant handle a 9mm. I've seen this as well. In any event I think the young lady did very well in this video and she quite a cutie as well.
For a newbie, she had good recoil control for the potent .454 Casull. If you watch her shoot her last round, she made an effort to hold the barrel still during the long double action trigger stroke (I don't even think she knew that was a good thing). Again, very excellent for a newbie shooter. Most would have handed the gun back after the first shot. Good job! :)
