One of the only alternative bands than even deserves to be on stage with Linkin Park is Staind. Aaron Lewis is incredible, and fat jokes aside, if you hear him do acoustic work, it will take your breath away.

While I am a fan of LP, compare this live DVD to Slipknot's Disasterpieces: Live in London DVD, which I have a playlist for. The whole damn show. Slipknot live > Linkin Park live.

And to that idiot who said Slipknot fans are computer nerds, 1) Slipknot has the one of most loyal and enthusiastic fanbases on the planet. 2) We're on the computer all the time because we love music, and this isn't a trend to us. 3) Slipknot has a violently enthusiastic live crowd that love to go ballistic.

@SickIncKamikaze I have plenty of love for Slipknot, but sometimes their fans take it too far, to the point that it is detrimental to the show. Drink, mosh, throw down, but when you literally have to have multiple EMT removals at every show something has gone a tad wrong.

I can't believe how "rock-loving" people freak out when LP's newest album has some ballads which resemble songs from the emo scene, but nobody complained when LP underwent the hip-hop phase with Jay Z and Reanimation?!?! Weird world.

@Griesmayer Some people just don't appreciate amazing musicianship. Linkin Park has grown and evolved so much as group since Hybrid that it is just incredible, they are breaking into incredible new territory. It is said that all great artists eventually become masters, and they are so close, I give it one more cd after A Thousand Suns before they really transcend the music. Linkin Park is to rock what Bach was to strings.

Welli was at the gig this dvd was filmed at and whether you like their music or not, they put on an amazing show.

That gig was one of the best days of my life adn the onl dissapointing thing is that there's no footage of the support bands that were there, such as Enter Shikari, N.e.r.d, Jay-Z e.c.t cos they were all amazing.

Cant wait to get the dvd though.

And paramore suck. =]

Linkin Park isn't Emo. Sure when their new cd came out I was thrown back at their change in musical direction - But common! I went to a concert shortly after where they went to prove they are the hard rocking guys they were in the beginning. I later returned the the new cd and noticed "Hey, these are good songs!" its not so much emo as it is going with the flow! Testing the waters..I'm sure their new songs attracted a larger crowd, and they will return to the hard rock next album I think.

actually I find it to be pretty interesting how their new album took on a new turn. Of course I think they're old stuff was great and I guess I'll always like them because their old songs really affected me growing up, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they're flat out "emo"...I mean my chemical romance is emo and tokio hotel is emo....my two cents.
