i respect the culture and sport. But how the hell can one, run, body slam, get choked, flip, roll, drag, and push each other without a breath? Those who think not breathing is actual... YOU ARE FOOLS! Its essentially playin foot ball without the ball and tackling each other and not breathing.... OK!!!?????!!
The reason its timed now its because they were able to hold their breath for too long. Waaaaaay too long. So not only were they able to do it but they did it longer than you think.
Also its nothing like playing football. Football is for sissyes that play for 6 seconds then take a break, and there are alot of rules in football that do not allow them to go all out when defending. Watch some rugby to see what football should have been.

I would agree that Kabaddi is a sport but I do think your definition of sport needs to be even less ambiguous. Under your definition crime is a sport, politics is a sport, Sex is a sport (no anal and the first one to finish wins!)

And the guys in these videos are the top Kabaddi players from that year. Sorry to say you would not last long without breaking something.
This game is like extreme Red Rover. Except you have to hold your breath. And if you don't break the line they get to try and bodyslam you. So, to all you people who like posting here saying "OH THIS IS SO GAY LOLOLOL" just remember that these are a bunch of big scary men who find knocking the wind out of each other good fun. it seems the sport is overwhelmingly in the favor of the guy who is trying to tag the other team because he has all the time in the world to tag and get back to the line.
the guys holding hands are on a team. And a guy from the other team comes and has to touch one of the other players and run back thru those cones past the line. once a player touches one from the other team its basically one on one from there. Or the guys that are together, one can decide to come out and grab the player thats by himself but they have to make sure he doesn't get away.
Im trying to understand the rules...is there a video that explains it? id like to get my jiujitsu class to play this on weekends
