Well l believe that he did alot for troops when he would take himself & alot of ppl with him that took time to show all the men over there just how much they cared about them .. Soo my hats off to Mr Bob Hope & The USO.. & Thank You All that Served over there as did my brother
Thanks for sharing this video. I was there and took several pictures of the show & Bob Hope and Gloria Loring. I have a picture of Gloria Loring and of the guy she's hugging in the video. I was several rows back from the stage but I still had good seats. I had just turned 21 in November of 1970, but it's been so long ago it was great to relive the sight & sounds of my time at the show. I wish I could get a copy of the entire show.
am not totally sure but I saw this show and remember climbing a pole and think I took shirt off to sit on spike and at the 2:20 point of this video I almost think that is me n the pole, not totally sure but gonna get magnafiing glass and check closer

This is great. I saw him in Pleiku, 1967. He had Raquel Welch with him at the time. It was a real moral booster.
