Also on the show as a guest was Amanda DeCadanet and she too was rude about the band. Strange that just 4 years later she was very close to Dave Gahan and trying to get him to stop taking Heroin over in the US. I always wondered if it was seeing on this show how huge they were at the time in America that made her seek the band out on a personal level.

This clip is from a UK show called The WORD and I have it on VHS somewhere still. The presenter Terry Christian was very rude about the band just after the clip was aired saying something like `Depeche Mode, just 3 A Levels and a synthesiser` A Levels being British college qualifications.
