I really like your videos! Both my uncles are on Innisfil Fire & Rescue full time and I want to become a volunteer when I turn 18 this year. I wish we were allowed Sirens in Ontario, all we are allowed is a dashboard green light and/or sticker on the drivers side of the front windshield indicating what hall you belong too. Great videos and keep them up!
I'm with Fyffe Fire and Rescue in Alabama. We are not allowed to run any lights or sirens in our POV's. Also we respond directly to the station and get our apparatus's enroute. The Dept. of Public Safety (state troopers) will write tickets to anyone responding to the scene with any type of emergency lights or sirens in there POV's.
I do have a quick question, whats the reason behind running your fire engines with red/blue lights? I'm from Erie,PA and both our paid & volunteer departments run, red/clear front facing and same on the back, sometimes amber is also on the mixed in on the back.
@LegoMental It's called "Due Regard", meaning the highest regard for the safety of the public that we serve. We exercise extreme caution, so we don't cause an incident while responding to one.
is it snowing there or no it looks like snow

do you always go straight to the incident or are you supposed to respond to station then go from there?

@101heza Straight to the call unless we need to pick up an apparatus.
