I enjoyed the video however for me I felt the music gave Hoppers work an overly lonely and melancholic feel. I've always felt his paintings reflect solitude and introspection without necessarily portraying those qualities as negative or sad. However, Like I said I enjoyed the video. Good job.

Much better to use some period music or something less commercial sounding like a film soundtrack from Europe.

This music is NOT at all for Hopper. It also disrespects the music and what it WAS made for.

At least this music was an attempt. It invites introspection. Others saw these paintings on level w/ some bland pop akin to a Harlequin paperback or yuppie cafe tryst. IMO wind down a hollow street is as good as any. You cant do justice to art in any video.

Also pal, dont tell me about art and what I do with it nor what I "know" about Hopper.

He didnt make it for you to "know" and no one can define it barring maybe the artist. Its as diverse as each pair of eyes for better or worse!

Too bad you don't hear the difference between music that was contemporary with the painting and would go well with the Art...and this music which is from a sappy movie much later.
