@JHKHSVJSSRV Thanks, dude! As for which is best, they are WAY too distinct. I dare say Doug might win the "duel" based on his absolutely perfect methods and insane obsession with nothing short of godlike - this Decibel has a mojo all its own, however, and from the whole tonal standpoint, they play in different areas, just as I intended them to in the very first place. :)

Your lead sound is so warm in this vid. Do you think that's mostly because of your patch or the guitar itself/fingers?

@zero716 A combination of all, really. My lead tones are tendentially very warm sounding so that I can make them more "in your face" when I dig in. The Air Norton 7 is my fave neck pickup for 7-strings (but DON'T use it in basswood Ibanez axes and the like - it's too much, there) and has a very singing tone. Since the guitar has great "snap" to it, I get to have a ton of articulation as well so things don't get mushy! :)

@FredtheShred Nice! I have calibrated AMs in my 7621 and the neck pickup is too bright for my taste. If I roll the tone off a lot I can get it where I want it though, haha. HNGD!
