Could you please show exactly how you entered the text in the TAG.txt file to get ride of the time and date on the video?

I tried a few combinations and the date and time still show up on the video.

It has 640x280 resolution.

And no, it can't be used with portable DVR, it only records to a microSD card. You can record while powered via USB, not no viewing or recording to a DVR.

You can get much cheaper cameras without the memory and stuff that have AV outs, just get one of them.

Well, I assumed it can, but now I tested it and it turns out it does not record when connected via USB, even only to power. Bummer. :-)

Yes, by placing a text file on the microSD card on which the movies are stored. :-)

It's in the user's manual, you write date, time and whether you want the date and clock in the recording inside the file, copy it to the camera and then when it's turned on it sets the properties.

I'm actually trying to turn the clock 'off' - I know how to set a date. I just would like no clock to show up on the video.

Maybe not possible to do this.

You should put "N" after the date and time strings and then it will hide the clock from the video. At least on mine it does :-)

Yeah, I know the sound sucks, but I don't need it anyway. :-) When stationary, the camera is right next to my nose so it sounds like Darth Vader, when moving the wind noise drowns everything out, with such a cheap microfone it will always suck. I think I will try taping the mic over, but I don't think it will help. :-)

I planned mainly on using the camera for insurance purposes, recording every ride, but if I have any interesting video from rideouts I'll publish it. :-)

Since u sub'd to my Favorites, I'll assume ur interested in more motovlogger content, here are 2 tips that can help u have more fun:

* Check out the motovlogger forum MOTOVLOG[dot]COM. If u like it then post an introduction & say Hi :-)

* If u want even more subscriptions to motovloggers. Look thru either the forum or my subscriptions & sub to the one's u like. I have MANY subscriptions & they're practically all motovloggers =)

Czy u mówić ani pisać po angielsku? Jeśli nie, można użyć Google Translate (lub podobnym) do przetłumaczenia tego tekstu z języka angielskiego na powrót do Polski :-)

Jakość obrazu wydaje się być niezły, ale dźwięk jest naprawdę źle. Dźwięk jest zupełnie zniekształcony od wiatru. Spróbuj tłumienie mikrofon z kawałkiem taśmy albo coś :-)

Mam nadzieję, że u know how to translate to dość łatwo, jeśli choć nie będę przetłumaczone kopii obok ;-)

Do u speak or write any english? If not, you can use Google Translate (or something similar) to translate this text from English back to Polish :-)

The Image quality seems to be good enough, but the sound is really bad. The sound is totally distorted from the wind. Try muffling the microphone with a small piece of tape or something :-)

I hope u know how to translate this easily enough, if not though, I'll leave a translated copy next ;-)
