plus..we did that show in july/august in sacramento in a theatre that had little to no air conditioning. I would like to see anyone try to keep on weight in those conditions. And believe me...I LOVE FOOD. hehehe
i sorta likethe fact that nadia isn't really fat. i think it's aninteresting take on the character. it really shows how someone can get this poor image of themselves. nadia sees ivy, who is beautiful and skinny, and automatically assumes she is fat because she isn't as thin as ivy. it's all in her head which i think happens to a lot of girls
I agree. It makes the character more complex and more likable because she's not some obnoxious fat girl. Now, she's a normal girl with an inferiority complex and poor self-esteem, like bwaymusicalboy said, so she's easier for the audience to relate to.

Though she's not the best Nadia visually (she's not at all fat), she does have a certain nerdy charm to her and she's a good actress.
