You need to also buy a TV (much more expensive than a not-so-big PC monitor), Xbox LIVE (if you're on Xbox, that's 60$ a year), and you pay 60$ per game for new games.

On PC, that doesn't exist - games are cheaper, and better.

In the long run, having ONE machine that does it all is better.

Especially if it does everything better.
