For some reason, I found Zeromus very difficult, to the point that I was unable to beat him, on the SNES version, but very easy on the GBA and PSP versions of the game. Maybe I got better over time, but I can't check, because my SNES is broken.

@ShadeUsher No thats actually correct, a majority off bosses in all the GBA remake's were nerfed from their original status's. Zeromus on GBA doesnt spam Big Bang as much on GBA on SNES and PSX he'll throw them out back to back if he feels like wiping you lol.

FFVII = I admit, not that great of a video game overall. (Especially compared to Tactics, V, and IV)

However, VII has hands down the best storytelling of any video game ever made. Not just any FF game, any VIDEO GAME. Replaying FF7 feels like re-reading an especially beloved novel.

Seriously, the quality of the storytelling actually AWES me. Nothing else Square has made even comes close.

@trect18 pretty straight forward really... levels are always a good thing. But really, Kain Jump, Edge throws things, both can support when needed, Rydia should be summoning Bahamut with Ashura when needed, Meteo had a stupid cast time in the SNES version (but guaranteed 9,999), but maybe it is a lil faster in DS?? If so, cast that. Cecil is my major support, healing, filling MP gauges, hasting, slowing, protecting, attack sometimes. Rosa of course, major healing, resurrecting, some support. EZ

That's a trick used with themes in soundtracks. They tend to use a small handful of themes, scattered throughout a game or movie, to tie everything together.

Like, say, in star wars, whenever darth vader comes on, the imperial march plays a few bars during the middle of what ever song is happening, to aurally remind you 'hey, bed things are a foot!". Same thing here.

I did like this fight. despite the fact that when Zeromus is having a bad day, he spams Big bang before I even get the chance to heal everyone from the first one. I think Golbez should have joined your team when he was no longer being controlled instead of kain coming back. The final battle should have been Cecil and Golbez vs Zeromus. That would have made it more epic.

No, kraina, you don't understand this.

Japan always had the "correct" order. FF2, FF3 and FF5 weren't released in America until the GBA remake (FF2), the GBA enhanched port (FF5) and the DS remake (FF3).

Because of this, FF4 was marketed as FF2 in America, and FF6 was FF3. They did it because it'd be confusing that they jump directly from FF1 to FF4 and then to FF6. However, they started to use the correct order in FF7.

Final Fantasies weren't even released in Europe until FF7.
