The reason y people go with a P28 and an s300 is bec it's a perfect combination for dyno's it's easier to program and it's alot less expecive when you go back to any dyno bec te previous dyno's stay on there to show what you had before to the power you'll have then I'm a Honda pro been working on hondas scince I was 12 have a fully built K24/k20 type r I spent abt 12,000 on it but hey I'm hitting 8's at the track so it's worth the adrenalin
@themegajosh09 its fun! i should get my d16z6 back from machine in about 2 weeks then im dropping it back in with a fully built block, then im doing top end, then suspension/brakes, intake, halfmount radiator hondata injectors boost then last but not least dyno tuned in dallas hoping for around 600 on 30 psi fully built seems easily acheivable i see people on vitaras at like 25 psi and not alot else done doing 500+
im doing pretty much the exact same thing to my '95 civic coupe, slight mods, i have 1000 cc injectors, greddy t3 turbo, no intercooler yet tho, any suggestions?
damn that FJ rod looked beefy as hell compared to the stock rod. Also, do Z6's and Y8's have different driver side mounts? yours look different than my 96's driver mount.
The piston are NOT backwards. If you take the time to look you will notice he is showing a picture from the REAR of the block. You can tell by the oil filter location (shown in the pic). Sound like someone is jealous that a civic can rock. Nice build bro. I have an EG4 running 10.5psi 12.9@115mph. and yes it has a HUGE intercooler, because if you know what happens to air as its compressed you'll realize what its there for. So again Kudos dude.
@BackyardRacing1 let me ask you something. do you need a SAFC for hondas or do they get tuned by computer only?? im building the same project and my friends are helping me and two of them keep bumping heads saying i should or i shouldnt get a SAFC.... whats your opinion?? lmk asap thanx
@Timmjoe84 Nope, those are vitaras they are supposed to point to the flywheel since the motor they came out of had the front pulley on the opposite side.
@Timmjoe84 not really. if you knew anything about d-series you would know vitaras are made for the suzuki engine which rotates the opposite way so in order to keep the pistons balanced the pistons must face the flywheel
helppppppppppp plzzz i have civic d15 and turbo kit but i dont know how to install it on my car can u till where or video or web ,can help me 2 do that

what exactly does hondata s3000 do?
themegajosh09 7 months ago
@themegajosh09 its a tuner for honda's i think its like an obd2 conversion and you can save tunes on it and use it as a tool to tune yourself as well

@EG4Boosted Ha i spoke to soon. He is correct. Your pistons are in fact backwards. The arrows need to face the timing belt

@bikerboy07pl many companies produce t3t04e hyrbid turbos . and since the dudes using vitara pistons and fj rods its most likely an ebay turbo kit
