I mean toph & sokka seem to hav way more chemistry plus they r way closer too each other. Suki & sokka's relationship is more: He's hot, I want him. & She's hot, I want her.

I have to say, I liked the Tokka pairing better than Sukka myself. They had a lot of cute moments together, one of my favorites is when Suki saves Toph and she says Sokka my hero. Or when she gets jealous of Sokka/Suki together, I wish they'd have gotten together.

Even though the show is over and it's almost positive that Sokka and Suki end up together, I still think Tokka would make a good pairing as well.

I think that either one makes a good pair, but part of the problem with the way Toph approached Sokka is why Tokka didn't really happen in the show. Just sayin...

To me Sokka/Suki seems a bit...shallow. Toph has known him for way longer, and really gotten to KNOW him, and is closer to him as a friend than anyone else in the world.

But really, I don't think Sukka "won" and Tokka "lost". Who knows, maybe, after a few years, Sokka and Suki drifted apart...

Even if that's not so, Sokka and Toph = one of the most awesome friendships ever, and that's good enough for me! :)

Not sure why, but I don't even LIKE Suki that much....she just seems too...perfect.

I can understand how people could support Sukka, but they just don't seem to have enough interaction for a real relationship to form. Two people have to get close before considering it "love", and there wasn't time for that to happen, whereas Sokka and Toph traveled together and had several deep comversations. Plus, Sokka still seems to be a little hung up on Yue, as shown when he turns away from Suki in front of the moon. The relationship with Toph seems more like what he needs at the moment.

i so totally agree. Toph loves (or likes) Sokka because of his personality, and that's something special. Sukka is a really stupid ship; the first time Suki meets him she kisses him. And then after they've spent 15 days max together, they have sex. Just because you're dating for months doesn't mean you're learning anything about the other person. Yay Tokka!!!

@bookworm9009 I hate to butt in, but I should point out that the age difference between Katara(13) and Zuko(16) is exactly 3 years, the same as Toph(12) and Sokka(15). Plus Aang is also 12, so thats only a one year difference between him and Katara. Really 3 years may seem like a lot now, but in the end its not really.
