  • We had two of these( a little newer) that we got when the fire dept. took over EMS from the police dept. The one had a slide bolt lock on the outside to keep the rear doors shut

  • Very cool! Minneapolis General (later becoming Hennepin County General) Hospital in Minnesota used those in the 60's as well. They were light blue lower, white upper. Very cool. Chosen at the time because they were a fraction of the price of the newer Cadillacs.

  • The Medical Center in Macon GA ran these or something very similar in the late Sixties. I have a picture of an ambulance that crashed at the intersection of Pine Street near the hospital.

  • Nice looking ambulance. I've never seen an International used as an ambulance. Very nice. It has all the gear one would expect in an ambulance. Sweet!

  • The City of San Francisco Ran some of these as their Emergnecy Ambulances, Private companies in town used cadillac high tops.
