humm.. Bhatti sahab was a complete singer. He sang Heer hundreds of time in public and believe me he always sang it with heart..not throat.. Bhatti sahab being a research scholar on folk ..was fully aware of the context, meaning and soul of Heer much better than Salim Raza or any other Heer-singer. There must have been very very strong reason for Salim Raza playback on Bhatti sahab. May be its audio overlap on Bhatti sahab's original voice (by Producer) or he wanted a softer voice. have to trace

Salim Raza ho ya Bhatti sahab.. both are my favourites as u know too :) I'll check a song from film Sachai or Jalan as i doubt Fazal Hussain or Ali Bakhsh Zahoor also had given playback for Bhatti sahab. Not confirmed. Till then ur info is Perfect :)
