I saw Ron perform at Indiana State University and was blown away by his musical talent and love of all humans. His performance was a blend of troubador, story-telling, spirituality, and sheer raw passionate music. You need to go see him if he's anywhere near you!
@felisnondomesticus he seems to be a very nice person. I'm a flamenco guitarist myself and also deeply rooted to my faith so i guess ronald and i are on the same boat :)
Perhaps ya'll don't know to whom you are listening:
A protégé of the legendary Carlos Montoya, Radford lived and traveled in Spain where he immersed himself in the musical wisdom of the Gypsy Flamenco guitar masters, in addition to classical studies with Andres Segovia and Jose Thomas. He is the only individual to be awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in Flamenco.
las ultimas falsetas estilo sabicas estas muy guapas, pero para mi gusto le falta algo de duende al gitarrista, eso si, toca muy bien, tiene buena tecnica
Ron, you seem like a really great person, but regarding the Flamenco guitar, how seriously do you really want to get envolved in all this. Playing for few people, that don't understand anything about Flamenco is not a major milestone challange.
Dude, you fail to understand that music is not all about making money, making it big and shit. He plays his music because it's an escapism like it is for me, a way of life.
I had the pleasure to know Ron when we were in Vietnam with the 266th Army Band. I played Clarinet and he is still the solid musician he always was. An extreme talent.God bless you RON. Russ
apparently got a fulbright scholarship for replaying paco de lucia falsetas?

@felisnondomesticus I always have thought that Anita Sheer was Montoya's only protege, his only student. Something's fishy here.
