It was just his way of expressing his love for a lyric or melody that meant something to him. Well I have to admit this cover was pretty bad (not saying paramore is a bad thing just it barely sounds like the actual song) I highly suggest you guys all check out At the drive- in. Great freaking band. Get there Relationship of Command album. Now bad song on it. Some good songs are Sleepwalk Capsules, Enfilade, Quarantined, Cosmonaut, heck check out all there stuff it's amazing.
I am for artists changing it up a bit, but I just imagine this song a more faced paced song. Sorry if I am wrong it's been a few days, but as I recall the song was really slow and in my opinion just didn't sound that good to me. I mean I am sure if they did it a bit faster it would sound better, but that's just what I think.

Early emo includes Fugazi, Husker Du, Samiam and shit like that. Later emo bands include The Promise Ring, Get Up Kids, Hot Water Music, and music of that sorts. It stands for Emotive, not emotional. It was a fairly hardcore genre in the beginning. YOU can go fuck yourself for saying At the Drive-in was emo. They're more hardcore punk than emo, and really can only be classified within themselves.

I am for artists changing it up a bit, but I just imagine this song a more faced paced song. Sorry if I am wrong it's been a few days, but as I recall the song was really slow and in my opinion just didn't sound that good to me. I mean I am sure if they did it a bit faster it would sound better, but that's just what I think.

At The Drive-In is more post-hardcore actually.They're not emo in the least bit.Anyways, this is a horrible cover of the song.They cannot re-create anything about them.If you truly enjoyed this mediocre attempt then you should not be allowed a musical opinion.I wonder what would happen if the creators saw this atrocity....

I admit the cover was pretty awful...I am a borderline paramore fan (I think the girl is cute and has a pretty fantastic voice) and I heard they covered atdi which ranks pretty high on my musical greatness chart.
I can see how it'd be right up the alley who is into this kind of music and has maybe never heard one armed scissor though

Early emo includes Fugazi, Husker Du, Samiam and shit like that. Later emo bands include The Promise Ring, Get Up Kids, Hot Water Music, and music of that sorts. It stands for Emotive, not emotional. It was a fairly hardcore genre in the beginning. YOU can go fuck yourself for saying At the Drive-in was emo. They're more hardcore punk than emo, and really can only be classified within themselves.

My apologies you discuss the even lesser knowns. One Armed Scissor isn't even the best ATDI song. Rascuache, Rolodex Propaganda, Picket Fence Cartel. No worries here, I know what I'm talking about. I use to have their discography. I don't see how they're an emo band at all. Maybe by magazine classification, but is that really where we rest this issue?

not a paramore fan, but at least they have a sweet ass taste in music. even if they dont sound like them, they love sunny day real estate and at the drive-in. they didn't butcher anything, this actually kinda reminds me of when brand new used to go into "trailer trash" by modest mouse at the end of one of their songs live. so whatever, im not offended by it, its even nice to see that a popular band that i otherwise wouldnt really care for has a good taste in music.

Stupid? I'd like to point out that Paramore/their fans are no less entitled to like a band than you are. Paramore are very into incredible bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, Jimmy Eat World, At the Drive-In, Copeland, etc, they know good music. You come on here acting like an elitist, but music isn't supposed to be about who YOU think should like what bands. So take it elsewhere.
