  • The reason we do not think about it is because before anything else they are Mexicans we do not need to talk about it cause we do not stereo type.

  • @eltekilas2009 nothing you said made any sense.

  • @oaklandlatinosunited maybe no sense for you since you are not mexican. the point is There are not only blacks there are asians and a lot of reces but we do not talk about it because we do not mine like in USA likes to say african american, italian american etc. We are mexicans no matter the race or where they come from. Mexican are mexicans.I am from veracruz and I have a cousin that color and we dont even care. So., Mexican comes in so many diferent colors

  • @eltekilas2009 actually I'm Mexican and Salvadoran but raised in the Bay Area . and i have been to Veracruz and have seen many people that are of Afro Origins . i see your point now . many consider there self Mexican because of the Nationalist stance that Mexico has had for many years. at the same time there is Deiscrimination in Mexico if you are Black or especially Indiginous you are looked down on like an Indio or Negro. and on Tv in Mexico all you see is White Mexicans. Racism is in MEXICO.

  • @oaklandlatinosunited okay. We do not descriminated but i admit is more an economic status. I undestand your point of view cause you were born and rised in USA. But We Mexicans do not see it like that. Right now We are helping our indians brothers in the state of Chihuahua. we do not care if they are indiginous. We alkl are mexicans and we help.

  • @eltekilas2009 They were starving to dead.If you see mostly white people on tv is becase we mexicans like to see it. Otherewise the tv productors won't know their own bussines. like going to a topless in mexico and seeing the Europ girls. it is something we do not see in dayli life. Most of the people who hates people of diferent color is because they learn since they are little.

  • @eltekilas2009 we have kalimba, zamorita and i can recall many more. There is this great movie. old one. Pedro infante and the movie is call Angelitos negros. See that movie you will cry. It teach you not to discriminate. Every single Mexican knos and have seen that movie. look at it on youtube. See you my friend and remember. You are not Mexican. you are US citizen.

  • @eltekilas2009 But i guees they call you Mexican but the truth is you may be from mexican descendenty but unless there is a lagal paper saying you are mexican. Dis you parent take you to the mexican embassy and did legal paper work for you to be a mexican being born in USA. If not Ypou are jus US citizen.

  • @eltekilas2009 i am not trying to discriminate you. i am just telling you. You will never think as us since you were born in USA and socialize with la raza who does not represent Real mexicans unless you are reguster in the mexican embassy as mexican being born in other contry.

  • Oye great video pa - keep speaking out!

  • THOSE ARE NOT AFRICANS THOSE ARE ISRAELITES!! THE TRIBE OF ISSACHAR

  • @Getushelp hotep.

  • Blacks in America after 1492, not 1000's of years ago "giving civilizations to the natives".

  • I started learning about the Africans in Mexico in late 2009 and have had a fascination with Afrodescendents in Latin America since then. Mexico and Latin America also did something America did not: they recognized people regardless of origin as Mexican citizens, which you already said. Since looks act as a pseudo biology, many Afrodescendents were able to pass as Indian or mestizo and were absorbed into the general population. Hence why many may be of that ancestry and are unaware of it.

  • hey my brother you keep up the good work. HOTEP

  • This makes me proud cause im half black from guerrero.

  • You say we in Mexico deny the Afro-latino presence in our country? That is ridicules! There is Afro presence very much alive in states like Guerrero and Veracruz. Although, they are not full African anymore, they are zambo and mulato. For example, Vicente Guerrero in past and current singer Kalimba. Also, why do you talk as if chicano opinion represents Mexico's opinion? Like it or not, there is clear line between chicanos (half Mexicans) and true Mexicans (born and raised in Mexico). Sorry.

  • @Lexman00 i say they denie it because it's true Mexicans and Chicanos denie it especially Mexicans from the Northern states of Mexico . look at some of the comments on hear they speak for them selves . and i don't know how many Times i've gotten into it with Mexicanos about Blacks in Mexico they continue to demie it . i'm not making it up it's true my Mom is from Michoacan and in that state i have seen people even in my Family who have strong Afro Features yet they continue to call them Indios.

  • @Lexman00 i agree with you 100%..u took the words out of my mouth...WHO DENIES AFRICAN, ASIAN, GERMAN, ITALIAN & so on culture? because the poster suggest based on youtube comments here? this looks VERY BAD for Mexicans, Im Mexican-American, not chicano, who decided Americans of Mex descent should be called this? As a MexAmer i thought this was going to be interesting but i find the accusations offensive.

  • Very informing

  • @ohsnapitsnd yes indeed it is .

  • Afro'Mexicano's are real, but only after 1492. Most Mexicans do not have Afro blood in them. If anything, they have more Spanish blood. Learning about Afro-Mexicanos is relevant but not from distorted versions of history. There are also other peoples who have been in Mexico for a long time since 1492; Jews, Chinese, Yugoslavians, French, Irish etc. There seems to be a sensationalist approach when discussing anything afro.

  • Yeah, the sources used by "funkcity" are interpretations taken out of context What's new? If one knows history, then one will know about the flawed racialist perceptions of not only whites, but by others from that period. Science, was still in its infancy and the concepts and perceptions of race cannot be taken seriously in todays light. But funkycity can. He's that stupid.

  • The African and even Egyptian origin of the Caribs has had some special advocates. Peter Martyr, and Grotius following him, contended for the people of Yucatan being Ethiopian Christians. Stories of blackamoors being found by the early Spaniards are not without corroboration. The correspondence of the African and South American flora has been brought into requisition as confirmator

-Narrative and critical history of America by Justin Winsor (1889)

  • Peace Family like ur u tubes. The Indio r blacks that migrated to the Americas about 12 thousand yrs ago . They came from Ethiopia(Mons). The Mons traveled by water in boats .This tribe populated all of India and Indo China. The Mons controlled great historical kingdoms under different national names like Talaings(Burma), Khmers(Cambodia),Chams(South Annam/Cochin China). These same people sailed boats to Central/South America. They had Curly,Straight and Wavy hair. U have Black / Red Indians.Peace

  • So these arguments are not against black or white people, but against the racist ones and those who push these false claims.

  • @PsyOperative So let me get this straight...I have 20+ pages of quotes plus dozens of links and the only thing you can counter with is to say they are "false claims and "pure allegory" without offering any weighted and credible support evidence of your own? You continue to waste your time(and everyone else's) with your hollow, weak and utterly useless statements...do everyone a BIG favor...turn off your computer...unplug it...take a hammer and smash the computer screen...thanks in advance

  • @funkcity1000 : So what about your quotes. I have many of those quotes you suggest and they are pure opinion. Do yourself a favor. Take that hammer you just mentioned and beat your own head in with it. You'll do the world a big favor.

  • Both racist whites and blacks are trying to say they were in America first, kinda like how the Jews did in 1948. It's kinda like a right to return type of thing. It is nationalist by nature and yes, these people have an agenda. Of course there is more to the story as I am being vague on here. The thing with the black claims, is that people are afraid to counter their claims for falsely being labeled a racist.

  • @PsyOperative So let me get this straight, you modify your stance and say my sources(who happen to be 100% white) aren't racists, but have "flawed racialist perspectives"...and now you are babbling about "black claims"...LOL. WHITE PEOPLE are the ones who documented FOR THE HISTORICAL RECORD from their very own EYEWITNESS TESTIMONY that BLACK PEOPLE WERE ALREADY HERE IN AMERICA BEFORE COLUMBUS...stop trying to tiptoe and hem & haw around this fact...

  • @funkcity1000 ; Yeah. Some of these whites are relying on that fraud Sertima for their info. Most white anthropologists and archaeologists contradict what you are implying. You are deliberately lying here, making it as if there is an overwhelming majority who believe that the blacks were in America first. DNA does not support your sloppy claims. History does not support you. Archaeology does not support you.

  • @PsyOperative you are outing yourself as a clown and a buffoon. You are mentioning "Van Sertima"...WHY? You are mentioning "anthropologists" and "archaeologists"...but...WHICH 'archaeologists" and "anthropologists"?

I'm also quoting HISTORIANS, yet you are claiming that "history does not support me"...LOL

  • oaklandlatinosunited ; I need to address something to you. Observing correct history is serious business. No doubt that blacks have been here since Columbus. But most Mexicans do not have African blood as some I've read on here like to lie about. There have been studies done on this with DNA testing. It is necessary to protect NA history and not let the whites and blacks try to say they were here first. Because there is no proof of this, at all.

  • @PsyOperative What property in "African blood" made William Penn describe the natives of the Northeastern colonies as "black" and let's not forget the Indian tribes in California who were described as "bearing a strong resemblence to negroes" and with "large projecting lips, and broad, flat negro-like noses" and "broad faced squaws of an almost African blackness"...read the book "The Native Races of the Pacific States of North America" by Hubert Howe Bancroft

  • @funkcity; I happen to live in CA and understand this history very well. I guess we have to go over this again. Those were flawed racialist views by whites. Again, many white people, in those days regarded other people as negroes when they were not. This is a simple fact you are twisting. Do yourself a favor. Stop sending me all those dated references. That's your main problem. You cite old jaded views of race, especially in the Americas.

  • @PsyOperative So you "happen to live in CA"...and?

  • The woollyheaded negroes who were the earliest occupants

of Egypt, Colchis, and the torrid zone of Asia, were not

necessarily degraded savages, and even those who found their

way across the Atlantic to the Isthmus of Darien, and who

were discovered there by Nunez in A. D. 1503, may have been

descended from merchants and navigators as civilized and enlightened

as those who circumnavigated Africa in the reign of

    Necho II

-How the world was peopled; ethnological lectures (1884) by Edward Fontaine

  • @funkcity1000 Have no idea why you would post some crap about egypt here? Makes no sense. You're not from egypt, you're from West Africa.

  • @PsyOperative tsk. tsk. There u go again...making yet another nonsensical statement. The Isthmus of Darien is in PANAMA...the only way to explain the presence of black skinned people inhabiting the "new world" BEFORE Columbus was to claim that they were from "Africa"...ie. AETHIOPIAN. U are aware that the South Atlantic Ocean that connects West Africa to the Americas was previously known as the AETHIOPIAN OCEAN ???

  • @funkcity1000 Pure allegory.

  • @PsyOperative "pure allegory"(???) Your pathetic statements get more quizzical with every post...

  • @funkcity1000 ; You are in complete denial, and you lie. You make it sound like there is some overwhelming consensus that the Olmecs were black. There is not. Some buffoon historians and conspiracy theorists who rely on sensationalism promote it, is where you take your so called proof. The Olmecs were Amerindian as the stone heads reveal. You are stuck in the 19th century and are only fooling the layman whose racialist views have been corrupted. You have nothing.

  • @funkcity1000 Some NA's were very dark but not 'black' as you folks like to think. You also deliberately leave out the reason why some whites back in the day called everyone who was a slave, or dark, a racist. They even called some light skin freckle face whites, negro. Why must leave that history out? Bc you thrive on distortion. The proof the NA's were the Olmecs are the presence of the NA's today, who are not "black". So where did your dominant gene go if blks were here thousands of yrs ago?

  • @funkcity The proof is everywhere here in the Americas of a NA presence. No signs anywhere of ancient blacks with afros setting up shop. A major problem for racist blacks and delusional whites, is the fact... the solid fact, that the Olmecs heads resemble those descendants who are still there today. And these are the people w/o African admixture. That's the proof you liar. This also proves you know nothing about the Americas and its history. Your just as bad as the racist whites, if not worse.

  • @PsyOperative So your shaky argument is reduced to a rant about "proof" of "ancient blacks with afros setting up shop"...LOL. If historians state from eyewitness testimony that North American Indians(who never stepped a foot in Africa) were of "African blackness" and had "broad flat negro like noses"...what does that say about the American-ness of the so-called Native American...?

  • @funkcity1000 ; Pure lies from a lying con man. I mean, how can one even deal with folks like you? How can one even discuss true history with folks who have no basic concept of history? It's kinda like religion and dealing with folks like that. Look. You're a liar and you'll never fess up to it. You have an ego problem. You look like a clown man but fail to to see it. You also have a bad case of psychosis.

  • @PsyOperative "no basic concept of history"??? "discuss true history"??? You keep avoiding the most obvious...I quote historians and you claim it is simply "allegory"...and then you mention Van Sertima...when no one mentioned Van Sertima within this thread...except for you...I have 20+ pages of information and dozens of links and can you point out exactly where I mention "Van Sertima"...lol

  • @funkcity; Foolishness. Your links mean nothing. Your quotes are garbage. Like I said before, they are only opinions based on faulty racialist perceptions of race. You have no concept of history and you prove this with your so-called evidence which is really, opinion, not proof. I'll mention whomever I want. Your so dumb you will try every tactic in the book but you fail to realize that you're only a parrot.

  • @PsyOperative "faulty racialist perceptions of race"....? So are you trying to say that people such as Peter Martyr didn't know what a "negro" from "Africa"(or a Aboriginal indigenous black man in America for that matter) looked like? And you did have the gaul to say that certain Indians were "very dark" yet wouldn't be considered "black"...even though historians have stated otherwise.

  • @funkcity1000 very dark does not mean african white people in europe can be very dark

  • @AztecTripleAlliance and "very white" doesn't mean "europe" either...AETHIOPS ALBUS is the medical term for ALBINO...translated it means WHITE SKINNED AFRICAN(ie. NEGRO)...this is a clue as to how "white" people came to inhabit Europe...

  • @funkcity1000 whatever makes you sleep at night

  • @AztecTripleAlliance the same can be said for you too...If I had a dollar for every clown like you that say "Afrocentric lies made by black people"...I'd be a BILLIONAIRE!!! Even though these comments were made by OLD WHITE EUROPEAN MEN...100's of years BEFORE "Afrocentrism"...

  • @funkcity1000 ; I wouldn't trust anything you say even as you quote. It is obvious that people like you consistently take information out of context. Simply, you are quite the ignorant imbecile that transpires into stupidity, and there are lots like you. You are one stupid human being.

  • @PsyOperative funny you seem to be repeating the same troll BS that other YT clowns attempt to claim. How can I take information "out of context" when I quote...VERBATIM? Perhaps you are just salty that you(and others of your ilk) can't come up with any substantial information that counters what I have posted to my page...LOL

  • @funkcity1000 ; A troll calling another a troll. Hilarious. Just because you quote "verbatim" doesn't mean that it is correct in context. Come on dude, really? LOL All your claims are being demolished wholesale clown man.

  • @PsyOperative I have provided authors, dates and links to the various references that I use to substantiate my claims. You make absolutely no sense...exactly WHAT am I taking "out of context" when HISTORIANS state that people looking just like Africans were already in America when the 'white' European arrived (and I have the HISTORICAL ACCOUNTS to back this up)?

  • @AztecTripleAlliance ; We know the truth of the matter. Olmecs, Northern and Southern Natives, etc. are Amerind. Always were and these snake oil sales men from the old world, can no longer trick the people, only the gullible ignorant and uneducated will follow these birdbrains. Funkcity is not a very bright person but attempts to portray himself as such. I have most of the sources he quotes from and he ain't fooling no one.

  • @PsyOperative URRR...this AztecTriple person sent me a private message ACKNOWLEDGING the fact that Africans traveled the world before anyone else...these are his/her words verbatim..."africans were the first people of this planet and may have traveled everywhere before that chris"...he/she isn't the first youtube buffoon to disagree in public...but send me private messages agreeing with a "afrocentric" POV wholeheartedly...

  • @funkcity1000 ; Stfu already. You're a lying con man. Only the Jim Jones crowd will believe you. We already know the truth, and you ain't got it.

  • @PsyOperative LOL to you too Psychotic...your diatribes and endless rants make absolutely no sense...feel free to check out my youtube homepage for tons of historical information...please send your friend(s) over to my page also...

  • @funkcity1000 So far you haven't proved jack. If you really want to prove me wrong, go to my BLOKCOM page and choose a video. Too bad the guy who runs this page blocked me, and for what? Funkcity, drop by my page so I can destroy you. Please..

  • @PsyOperative You are "blocked" for good reason...your comments are asinine...at best.

  • @funkcity1000 You are a low iq bro trying to make sense of it all. Trying to sound like he's discovered some great truth. But you've only exposed you're stupidity. Ghetto-theology will be destroyed.

  • @AztecTripleAlliance "very dark does not mean african"...funny you should mention this since Europeans such as Peter Martyr were wondering where did those "very dark" American "Indians" who were already living in the Caribbean when the Europeans "discovered" it. They(like you) could only scratch their head and come up with wild conjecture...back then the only defense they could muster was that they were "shipwrecked Aethiopians"...which is waaay better then your lame crap...

  • @funkcity1000 taino were 100% mongoloids from asia here you are wanting to take credit of the native americans when your ancestors biggest empires was in Africa

  • @AztecTripleAlliance errrr....the "Taino" were not the only people in the Caribbean...and let me get this straight...you refuse to admit that Africans could travel to America...yet you are claiming that the Tainos are "100% Mongoloids from Asia" and "native to America"...all in the same breath??? If these "100% Mongoloids" could travel from "Asia" and become "natives" in America...why couldn't "100% Africans" travel from Africa to become NATIVE AMERICANS??? Your argument is WACK!!!

  • @funkcity1000 HISTORIANS AND SCIENTISTS CONFIRMED THIS, EVEN TODAYS PURE BLOODED NATIVE AMERICAN RESEMBLES MONGOLOIDS TO THEIR EVERY FEATURE I AM NOT SAYING THE MONGOLOID AMERINDIANS WERE THE FIRST PEOPLE TO TRAVEL THOUGH ALL OF THE AMERICAS BUT THE ONES WE KNOW ABOUT HAS BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED TO PEOPLE FROM MONGOLIA AND SIBERIA

  • @AztecTripleAlliance so if you ADMIT that "mongoloid amerindians" were NOT the first people to travel through all of the Americas...then WHO traveled the Americas before them? Also there are people in Mongolia and Siberia that look EXACTLY like the black people of Africa and today's so called "Afro-American". "Historians and scientists" confirmed that black aboriginal people occupied Asia before anyone else.

  • @funkcity1000 migration started when human existed of different colors and races there even European Skeleton remains in the Americas that predate asian and black people and ice ages made people move so when one occured why couldnt you think that asians left to the Americans from Mongolia andAfricans found an empty area

  • @AztecTripleAlliance Exactly WHAT is a "European" skeleton??? I hope you aren't attempting to equate "white man" with "European"??? I hope you aren't talking about that whole "Kennewick Man" stuff...lol So ONE LONE "white man"(from some mystical land in "Europe") traveled 1,000's of miles to "discover" America ALL BY HIS LONESOME...before Africans and Asians? "Africans found an empty area"(???)..extremely farcical to say the least.

  • Black people were not in the Americas before 1492. Mr. Funkcity1000 has a political agenda that is no different than the a white racist one. These people are so desperate to claim the Americas as an ancient black paradise, they have no idea how stupid they look, because they have no proof, at all. Watch the clown man continue with his lies.

  • @PsyOperative "Black people were not in the Americas before 1492"...?

I suggest you check the latest entry on my page...a quote from noted American historian Justin Winsor...A Narrative and Critical History of America(1889) p.117

  • Indigenous peoples of the Americas have a lot to be proud of. Don't let these weird cult liars try to steal First Nation Peoples history by claiming black or white people were here first. When they make these claims, what they are really saying is that they were responsible for all of NA achievements. You must recognize the lies. White wash, black wash, there is no difference.

  • @funk Those white scientists may not be racist, but they have flawed racialist perceptives. Which brings me to another point... Black ppl in America today, are not at the center of racism. NA's are, and they have been since the Spanish whites and their slaves came over. And today I see many blacks trying to rob their history and even call them sub human. Here's a quick note lying man: When Cortez came over, he brought some free armed blacks over to help subdue the Indians. The party is over liar

  • @PsyOperative 1.) What does "black ppl in America TODAY, not being at the center of racism"...have to do with the fact that black ppl have always been in America?

2.) Your knowledge of American history is what is SERIOUSLY FLAWED. North American "Indians" were enslaved and shipped to the Caribbean...many of those so called "negroes" that (you claim) "came over" with Spanish whites were already here.

  • @funkcity: 1. It has a lot to do with it. Blacks are not at the center of racism, NA's are. One good reason is that you folks are trying to rob their history. I happen to have Native ancestry in Mexico and I am well aware of the history. 2. My history is not flawed, yours obviously is. Those blacks were not here. Again, pure allegory. Blacks with the Spanish whites were helping enslave and conquer natives.

  • Another thing with the video, the narrator mentions "slaves" in Mexico with "African" features. During the various Indian wars in North America in the 1500-1700's many tribes were enslaved and shipped off to the Caribbean... many of the so called "africans" came from North America.

  • @funkcity1000 Yeah yeah whatever dude. You are full of lies. No sense in even "debating" with you. All you do is scoff at the proof and continue to quote opinions as fact. I will systematically destroy your argument. Period!

  • @PsyOperative 1.) Exactly what "proof" have you presented? 2.) Wouldn't it seem that the "opinion" of various historians, scholars and scientists be more valued then the internet ramblings some shmuck like yourself?

  • @funkcity1000 I haven't presented any proof, liar man. I was simply stating that all you are doing is presenting opinions of old 19th century white men, and accepting that as proof. I follow facts not junk science like you, boo.

  • @PsyOperative So you admit that you haven't offered any proof whatsoever that would substantiate your crass, rambling & incoherent statements... Also, if you "follow facts" as you say that you do, you should have no problem presenting them here on this forum. You sound ignorant...saying you "follow facts" yet you admit that you haven't presented one iota of PROOF to back up your empty statements...LOL

  • @funkcity1000 ; You only show quotes that are only opinions, nothing more. I cannot understand why you folks don't get that? I haven't provided any facts, yet. Not necessary cause foolish ppl like you will disregard them as white mans science blah blah, when the obvious is true. You are a weak pathetic individual who is racist and those who'll side with you, haven't a clue, but do so only for pc.

  • @PsyOperative So I'm "racist" because I post the "white mans science" that states that BLACK SKINNED WOOLLY HAIRED NEGROES were already in the Americas prior to the European "discovery"...???

On one hand you claim that I'm "afrocentrist"...then on your other hand you claim I'm using the "white mans science"...and then you toss in the "racist" slant for good measure...all the while admitting that you present absolutely NO PROOF to back your statements...you make no sense!!!

  • @funkcity1000 You're an afrocentric, period. Yes, you are also racist. Some of you people are so messed up you don't even know the definition of the word cause you racists are trying to change the definition of the word. Won't happen. I do happen to have the proof, but people like you fail to ever accept it. You only accept junk science and accept opinion as fact. I think you just deliberately twisted some of my words.

  • @PsyOperative So you "do have the proof"??? But you don't want to present this proof because I (and others like me) 'can't accept it"??? I'm waiting for you to offer some type of "proof"(?) that would counter the claim of historians, scholars and scientists who admit that black skinned people were inhabiting Asia, Africa, America, Oceania, etc anterior to the "discovery" by others. Also, what type of "racist" is the white scientist who admits to a black origin? Is he a "afrocentric"...LOL

  • PsyOperative...You are attempting to claim that my sources are invalid by stating that they are "opinion" or "outdated" yet you are basing your stance on your personal biased OPINION with absolutely no veritable historical sources of your own...you are talking about the Celts yet Scotland and England were colonized by various tribes of people who would be called centuries later...NIGGERS.

  • Maybe mr. oaklandunited is not seeing this through, which is why he blocked me. I am in no way denying the African presence, but only prior to 1492. To label NA's 'black' is distorting history with faulty outdated perceptions.

  • @PsyOperative U use the term "Amerindian"...were not the so-called "white" man attempting to find a path to India the continent in 1492 or so the story goes? If you read ancient Indian texts like the RIG-VEDA it mentions that the first inhabitants of India were BLACK SKINNED with flat wide noses, the Dasas or Daysus. These "Negritos" were the ab-original people of India, Oceania, Hawaii, Japan, China, Phillipines, Easter Island etc. These people came to America also...

  • The whites back then, and some today still, have tried to categorize the NA's from ancient Celts to the Lost Tribes. This is true. The truth is, NA's are their own people, whom developed and achieved their own great history and now some black people want to steal it, with a little help from their short sighted friends.

  • @PsyOperative

DUFF, a surname adopted from the Celtic, in which language the word means BLACK. Sibbald, in his History of Fife, says, " that as NIGER and RUFUS were names of families amongst the Romans, from the COLOUR AND COMPLEXION OF MEN , so it seems Duff was, from the SWARTHY AND BLACK COLOUR OF THOSE OF THE TRIBE," or clan of Macduff.

-The Scottish nation; or, The surnames, families, literature, honours, and biographical history of the people of Scotland (1877) by William Anderson

  • The other thing wrong with you claims, are that there are lighter skinned natives as well.

  • @PsyOperative So you admit that there were darker "natives" along with "lighter skinned" ones....Many of the darker skinned natives of North, Central and South America were as dark as the blackest "African" ...

  • This tradition preserved by Herrera, Garcia and Charlevoix, indicates a colony of Negroes or men painted black, from South America. They might be the black Negroes of Quarequa mentioned by Dangleria, or some other American Negro nation, of which there are many.—See my account of ancient Black Nations of America

-The American nations: or, Outlines of their general history (1836) by Constantine Samuel Rafinesque

  • @funkcity1000 : Opinions of 19th century men are opinion, not fact. I suggest you learn about perceptions of race and who was labeled black back then. I have quotes too, even from today where they think, those olmec heads look negroid, but those heads look unmistakably, Amerindian. This is a problem for the Afrocentrics.

  • @PsyOperative I'm sure u have read through the quotes and links on my youtube homepage. How are you going to label the information that I present on this subject "afrocentric", when 100% of the information was compiled by WHITE EUROPEAN HISTORIANS, SCIENTISTS and SCHOLARS centuries before the so-called "afrocentric" movement?

  • Thanks for the video and keep up the good work.

  • am mexican native american and i know obout all this cause am from oaxaca mexico so am being in contac with black people since y was child but there is another topic related withj black people in mexico in ancient times and this is even more interesting, in fact there is a litle town in veracruz call it tres zapotes where archaeologists unearth or discover this colosal heads with african features, that belong to a civilization we call olmecas and they were the first in that land

  • Great video well done. Please tell me do you think their will ever be a movie made about Gaspat Yanga.

  • @philly4458 i hope so that would be such a kick ass movie probably 10 times better then Amistad .

  • @oaklandlatinosunited ; What are your thoughts on these people on here who are claiming Africans were here even before the NA's? Such as Funkcity1000 who has a high thumbs up rating.

  • Most Mexicans that do know about the African presence in Mexico say that they came from Cuba. I know for a fact that some do come from areas near Belize but also I've met Mexican of African descent from Guerrero. Check an Afo Mexican singer named Pepe Ramos song soy el Negro de la costa

  • Yo to every black and brown person I advice you to check out all these vids on our people black and brown movement my brothers and sisters we are the chosen people to the Gods Im

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. People of today both black and mexican need to know just how similar, even related we are. Because there is too much division in this country over race and race relations. Both our ppl have more in common than we have different. YOU HAVE MY SUBSCRIPTION, keep up the history, u have a fan.

  • Thank you for this video.

  • @artwriter101 your welcome always my pleasure to educate the minds of the pEOPLE .

  • @oaklandlatinosunited WORD THAT'S THE TRUTH

  • I've only heard about african slaves and not about the OLMEC HEADS that were found all over what is now called Mexico. Africans or Moors were here in this hemispere way before the Europeans or Blancos. Remember Moorish/Afrikan/Kemetec/Black history doesn't start with slavery. It starts with WORLD history! Paz!

  • NO! Africans Were WORLD TRAVELERS WELL BEFORE SLAVERY!

The Colossas Heads Pre-Date Slavery and they are clearly African.

WE AFRICANS have ALWAYS Been HERE IN THE AMERICAS!

  • Very interesting! I love how your educating our people about Afro-Mexicans. I'm not Afro-Mexican, but I would love to learn more. I wish I can do something to help other Mexicans about our third root.

  • Brother dont worry about those who say cruel things, ignorance is something thats hard for people to shed. Remember those racist mentalities are something that was pass down through history. One of he pictures that you showed of the Black man with the beard brings in another reality. That man was a Muslim and you can tell by the way he wears his beard. Just to add something to the conversation, at least 30 percent of the African slaves was Muslims and that a fact.

  • As-Salaam Alikium, I just want to thank you for your video. I am an African born in America and I hav done some research myself on African contributions in Mexico. It feels good to see one of my brothers of Latin decent showing how we are inter connected in history.

  • I dont Know why people talk about this Mexican Black Fued. The TRuth is this is A Senatorial Problem. That is Not Protecting Nation Security of Any Americans. Whites are Constantly Fighting them in Courts. They Are shooting and Killing Police Officers. They will Kill Blacks, if Blacks think they can talk to them or appease them they are mistaken. Mexicans kill Mexicans at an alarming Rate. New Illegal Mexicans is also killing Legal Mexicans. Black Males want to screw and make more. So he dies.

  • QUE VIVA MEXICO CARAJOOO!!

  • humanity is cruel and evil i must say! that we stoop this low to talk nonsense about race color culture its ridiculous god made us as one and look how we break each other and knock each other down when we are of the same race or heritage. The world is a dangerous place not because of those who do evil..but because of those who look on and do nothing. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine. Todos me negros morenos indios de mexico are beautiful and will continue to be.

  • there is a big difference between a nigger, of black color and african! sorry to break it to you ppl, but Black is in every country especially Latin America and Caribbean whether you like it or not. mexico is a melting pot just like ny and boston..Im Mexican de veracruz y la costa chica! soy morenita and im proud! i may be dark but i represent mexico to the fullest and im most def not ashamed of my color! It saddens me that MY people neglect my fellow Mexicans of the African/Indian root!

  • Just know that All Hispanic or latino/a (which ever you prefer) Native/Seminole Indians, and "so-called" Negros we are or the same nation or people. EVEN the bible talks sooooo much on how we are god's chosen people, and i promise you as you begin reading and watching EVERYTHING will make sooo much since but it's only depending on how much The most high allows you to get.

Shalom brotha and remember we love all of our people esp on the west coast brotha, keep it 100

  • bruh, this is Jay from NC and i gotta say man i'm glad to see our people coming together an be able to accept dating each other (AGAIN). I'm only 19 man but i do alot of reading but not none of that bullshit ppl put out. my point is man when you get time PLEASE i ask that you check out or youtube "12 tribes of israel" or just simply open a bible and slowly read, but i recommend u do the 1st option.

  • im not a nigger what the hell?

  • @ADRIANR2D no your not a nigger your just a stupid ignorant asshole that lacks education . and dosen't know shit about history because if you were smart you would not leave a stupid racist ignorant comment like the one you just left . yes your right your not a nigger your a fucking racist pendejo .

  • African slaves in Veracruz interesting this where they found Giant Negroid LOOKING HEADS CALLED OLMECS.

  • a good book to read also is they came before columbus by ivan van sertima

  • I was part of the Oakland exhibit. I am an Afro-Mexican from La Costa Chica de Guerrero and I was one the speaker.

I actually was the only Afro-Mexican speaker that attended.

    Cool documentary. Hechale pues!!

  • Bravo my friend for exploring and posting this video. I saw the exhibit 3 times, because the truths that intuitively compelled me from childhood. I shared the exhibit to blacks and Latinos, none who saw it. Society is to control the subclasses; therefore some are very uncomfortable about this type of truth, but there is nothing to fear. My friend, you have nothing to lose. Embrace truth, ultimately truth will have her way.

  • This leaves no longer room for

doubting that a large continent existed in the middle

of the Atlantic ocean, and which was destroyed within the memory of man; and that the narrative by Plato of the submersion of Atlantis is, in the main,

    correct....(CONT.)

  • (CONT.)...The Maya author represents the lost land by the figure of a black man with red lips, which would imply that it was mostly inhabited by a race

of black men. In this case, the presence of blackskinned populations on the Western continent, anterior

to the advent of the Spaniards, would be

    easily accounted for.

  • the negroes who dwell on the west coast of Africa are the Israelites NOT AFRICANS

Yanga was an israelite NOT AFRICAN.

  • i am a proud african and Yoruba man not an israelite.

  • ANTIQUITES OF VERA CRUZ

In the vicinity of Tuxtla, at the south-western base of the volcano, a colossal granite head, six feet high, was found by a

laborer in 1862, while making a clearing for a milpa.

The most noticeable peculiarity in this head is the negro cast of the features, and Senor Melgar devotes his article to the negro race, which as he supposes lived in America before the coming of the Spaniards.(p. 426)

  • @funkcity1000 ; I see you use out of dated resources to prove your claims, by using any scrap or quote of "opinion" which equates to - no proof of ancient african colonializers. Question; Are you yt use supercarbon on another account? Bc you are doing the same as he.

  • @blokcom Actually many these "Africans" came by way of the Pacific Ocean. The aboriginal tribes of California were described by historians as being 'black skinned" with "thick lips" and "wide lips" and resembling the "negroes of Africa" and the native tribes of what became known as Pennsylvannia were described as being "black" by William Penn(the guy who the state is named after)...I'm sure you have read through the various quotes and links on my youtube homepage...LOL

  • @funkcity1000 ; What's up, it's me blokcom, I was blocked for some reason. The majority of those quotes are opinions, not facts. Do I need to go into why they said those things way back when? This is actually a history of racialist thought; one drop rule, racialist perceptions, labeling of NA's based on skin color and way of life, all judged by whites more or less. In fact, I am well aware of California NA history. LOL. Describing one as black doesn't mean Afroblack. That's common sense.

  • @PsyOperative You make absolutely no sense. Of course we aren't talking about "Afro"black. We are talking about AMERICAN BLACK!!! There were black skinned "Indians" already in North, Central and South America when the so-called Europeans made their way here...it just so happened that these black "Indians" resembled so called "Africans".

  • @funkcity1000 Oh, I know I making sense here. They weren't black skinned indians, but dark. Whites back then even called some people with freckles and light skin negroes. There's a big misinterpretation going on here and is why some people are stealing NA history and achievements. LOL, you can argue this on my page cause I know I will be blocked for who knows what. This is how it goes though.

  • This god, who was also known by the title of Tlaltecuin, is the third

    Mexican god connected with medicine.

-The native races (1886, c1882) by Hubert Howe Bancroft

  • Yxtliton, or Ixtlilton that is to say, 'the little

negro," according to Sahagun, and 'the black-faced" according to Clavigero was a god who cured children

    of various diseases.(p. 409)

-The native races (1886, c1882) Vol III by Hubert Howe Bancroft

  • Actually "black" people were living in the Americas before the arrival of Columbus...there were black tribes of indigenous people throughout the area...many so called "negroes" actually came from the territories of the North and shipped south...some were shipped back to Spain and reshipped back to America...I have loads of information on my youtube homepage that will shed an abundant light on the subject

  • i remember reading a long time ago that once a law was passed that the native indigenous were not allowed to be slaves anymore and any children that they had were also free from being slaves, that many african men preferred to have children with the natives so that their offspring would not be slaves. they often lived within close proximity to each other this happened in high numbers.

I was referring to the gang wars between blacks and chicanos in LA there is mad hatred between the two. The Mexican Mafia put out an order to commit genocide against blacks

  • none taken brother. I know how it be in LA.. Most of them are just uneducated nobodies making us REAL mexicans look racist. I get along with everyone unless they have a problem with me. I treat everyone no different. out here in the BayArea we all get along for the most part.

  • Wat up brotha respect

  • Good vid.

  • we do joke around like..EXample... fuck dud you are black as hell...or fuck dud you are white as hell..but at the end of the day we party like a Mexican. we eat like a Mexican, we act like Mexicans...i think chicanos get along more with black ppl just because they grew up with them,,im a chicano, just for the fact that i was born in the USA, but i was raised in Mexico, so i really dont get along with anyone but Mexicans, yhea i got some white{american} friends and some black friens,,but not close

  • well to start of by saying i have never seen a black guy in Jalisco,{where my family is from}or with the features,,,but there is blacks in Mexico,i dint know this untill i saw one of my friend here in the USA he looked black not all black but with some features,he tells me he is from Mexico i was like wtf,he was from veracruz also,so i think that the racial thing with blacks and Mexicans is the culture,im white as hell blue eyes and shit, but i get along with any Mexican cuz im Mexican,,,

  • If you show a mexican in LA about the Afro presence they will kill you.
