madden 08 on xbox 360 was TERRIBLE

i dont even know how they fucked it up so much but if you play this game and then play the normal xbox version of it i guarantee you will choose the xbox version

Older football was so hardcore, damnit! They're pads were like 3 times bigger and everyone hit so much harder. JackLambert had a bunch of missing teeth, you never see that in the finesse guys playing today.

Now, I'm a hard-cvore 49er fan, but- WHY is Starr starting ahead of Favre? Favre may be recent, but there is no doubting he's a better QB than Starr- more arm strength, and, at least before his later years, accurate. And a winner. Not slamming Starr; he was great, and as the QB of Lombardi's 60's Packers, should make an excellent backup. But Favre SHOULD start.

In any case, historicgame rosters, these clips are great.

And Montana or Young could beat Favre or Starr. ;)

Are you effin' kidding me? Brett Favre won just 1 Super Bowl (thanks mostly to Reggie White) in his long career. Brett Favre also has the distinction of most career interceptions.

Brett Favre is only so great because hack commentators like John Madden talk him up.

Bart Starr is the MVP and winner of the first 2 Super Bowls. He is the only player in NFL history to QB five NFL championship teams.  He played in tougher era of football.

Brett Favre should be the 2nd stringer.

I'm not denying that Favre isn't a legend. I'm just stating that he's not better than Bart Starr.
