@Clymerman1 Technically speaking as one who writes and plays music. It's because the singing and the notes resonate, a calm compassionate voice as well helps with this. (that or your subconscious understands Japanese)

Now for my answer... I love her voice, and there's a great balance between instrument and singer.

@gothicphey Background music is just music used for the background, it is still an OST, Original sound track. meaning it was created for the Anime/move/whatever. BMG is just used for song's that are just there to make the mood, not to loud, and you still hear characters dialogue.

@Nurias13 I'd reccomend watching other shows before you watch this one... this isn't the best of its genre, but I really enjoyed watching DGM nontheless. (try things like FMA, pandora hearts, black butler first, they are all better and similair IMO)
