Thanks Sandra! We both agree about the talent! It is soooo hard for Danielle to choose! Heartbreaking really and she kept re-thinking it. But the results are on the way. Hey, I have a video I recently finished. It's for the fandom "Heroes" (which isn't on your list) and about four minutes, not including credits (which is over your time limit).

BUT, here's where the dirty slash comes in:

Male/Male incestuous romance (including a badly made kissing scene) and male/male rape. Yeah. All centered around guys. =)

I'd greatly appreciate it if you let me enter, but understand if you don't. Thanks!

Danielle is familiar with Heroes & we would happily accept a Heroes slash vid, if it was just a little shorter. We decided to be a little lenient about the time, if it was even just under 4 mins. (including credits) we would take it.

We just wanted to make it a bit difficult plus we love to see people do audio edits. Other people have already struggled to keep their entries @ the time limit, so it wouldn't be fair to them for us to just let it go completely now. Loved the vid tho! :)

No, the song doesn't have to have the word "dirty" in it, it's just a preference. If the video doesn't have the word dirty in the title or lyrics that doesn't mean it won't win. Then again, if there are two equally fabulous videos and one of them does have it and the other doesn't, it may be the tie breaker.

Femslash is acceptable, but it's a little risky if you want to win. Neither of us are big femslash fans.

some questions: if I have one or two vague dirty scenes in a vid, but not as a main idea, will that earn less points than a v. dirty vid? because I like to include plots and stuff, so I might also go over time. what's the longest you can accept?

Vague scenes are fine. The theme's everything! You don't need a lot of dirty scenes to have a dirty video, but the video must be about something dirty in some way. Be as subtle as you need to be, insinuation is a very good thing!

Try not to go over the time limit. Edit the audio down if you have to, but how much over the limit are you talking? A few seconds? That's fine. More than 25 seconds? That's not good. Just try to keep it well under four minutes.

Oh, just to make sure, can we use clips from different fandoms to represent the characters that we mean, so long as it's skillfully done and obvious who we're intending to be who and so on? As in, not just other works of the actors in question, but completely different series? *has an evil plan in mind*

Sure! As long as it's meant to represent an allowed fandom and is central to that fandom, that's fine. Sometimes one must be creative, we understand. So long as it's obvious what you're doing. Other works of the actors are fine too. Just so long as it's based on one or more of the fandoms listed or approved and not a crossover into an unapproved fandom. Hope we get to see the fruits of your evil plan soon! XD
