how can you watch your rearview camera without being in reverse??

Yes, I can watch the rear view camera while driving. In fact you can watch any camera while driving. if you have it by passed of course.

works very fast once it's loaded when you first start the car.

how did you get your cam to come on automatically when you put it in reverse? i have to manually turn mine on but it will run nonstop even while im running... its pretty cool cuz i get an awsome view of my rear traffic... lol.

The rear view camera comes on automatically when the transmission is put in reverse. I can also view the rear camera full time if i want to. Thanks!

hi, on ur head unit, there is a wire comes out, which has to be connected to the plus terminal of the reverse light, what u can do is, connect the camera plus wire to the head-unit wire and connect them both to the plus terminal of the reverse light, and then ground the negative wire of the camera. simple as that, and when u put it to reverse, the circuit completes and sends power to the head-unit which turn on the circuit for the camera and while powering the camera itself. hope this helps

can you put this in ANY CAR with a 2 bay section for the stero and still have satnav or do you need to have satnav already in your car for sat nav to work, (sorry if that was badly worded)

Call any installer and tell them your vehicle make and model/year. This unit is upgradeable. You can add, satelite radio, xm traffic more cameras. I only have the bluetooth which you must get bec i can' live with out it. I also have camera in rear thats all.

You have to do a lot in order to just get XM or Sirius!

I learned the expensive way. I don't really think it's worth it, except navtraffic that is pretty god damn cool.

Built into the license plate holder. It's a non-pioneer brand camera.
