  • @sphinxcanada that's Ken and Mary, they "took Japan by storm" thus making the car name the Kenmeri

  • automatic??!!

  • I don't need a commercial to want to buy a Skyline from any era! :D

  • Does anyone know the name of this song? Ongaku ha nan desu ka????

  • Why the European instead of Japanese models?

  • looks like a miniature Ford Torino fastback I love it.

  • They used to copy us, now we copy them..

  • Shit looks american

  • سقالله ليالي ماضيه

    هههههه

    سبعه

  • Gawd what an UGLY car! Looks like a 610...Uuuuuuuuuugly. Datsun 240Zs were good lookin cars. Heck the 510 was a better lookin car than this skypoop!

Toyota had all the japs beat with the 2000GT. Nothing happing until the NSX. After that everything is just cookie cutter.

  • If it look like Dodge or Thunderbird etc., I still like it.

  • Hallo, Ken & Mary.

  • Definiitely liking the split grille, reminiscent of 60-70's Pontiacs.

  • Looks like a mix of several Amercan muscle cars, 70's era Ford Capri, Plymouth Cuda.

  • Is that the boy from the karate kid?

  • JDM meets muscle dream come true <3

  • I wouldn't do it, but it would be awesome to see that rear end mated to a 280

  • I saw one running on the road few days ago, what a wonderful car! (not sure if it's the same model, but should be around the same time period!)

  • SUKAIRAINU

  • this is the car

    not these days cars

  • looks like a muscle car X D but i love r34

  • The license plate looks quite the same as the ones I saw when I studied in Japan in '08!

  • omg i just jizzd

    CLASSIC GOTTA LOVE IT <3

  • miss the times when cars where a work of art

  • @summitsvift

yeah truly agree. cars nowadays were just tasteless =D

  • Just look at that butt.. absolutely beautiful :)

  • Makes me want to go camping, and do neutral drops! Todays advertising is so failed in comparison

  • i love that fast back look reminds me of americas muscle cars....not saying i dont like asian imports.

  • fuck the car.. how funny is the song hahaha immm more duckie nore

  • this is a good looking skyline. its like a japanese muscle car

  • 70's Japanese cars, especially Nissan/Datsun seem to have largely been influenced by Western design.

  • why are they two hippies, i thought it is a japan car? xD

  • Reminds me of a Opel Manta, or a Ford Capri, the design is a resemblance of the american muscle cars of the day.

  • wierd how it looks like the 1972 datsun b-210

  • Same company, same era, not more strange than that a 1985 Golf, Polo and Passat shares its similarities...

  • @CptTuttle one could compare this to a vw scirocco at best, any other vdub is simply not in the same league.

  • @b87clr , I was not trying to compare the Skyline to any VW, what I meant was to reply to a comment that it looked quite similar to a Datsun B210, I just wanted to say that it is not strange since they are from the same era and made by the same company.

  • Beautiful!

  • looks kinda like a Chevelle

  • It looks like a muscle car from 70`s. But its nice one..

  • Hmm, not sure about that. Looks more like a 69 Ford Torino & a Datsun B210 Honeybee had a fugly child. Still interesting, strong looking. Japanese car design was still "feeling" itself out during the late 60's and early 70's, some good, some not so...

  • well... It still looks like a muscle, and youre right, cause it looks like a 69 Ford Torino. :)

  • starring nissan 1972 skyline coupe and vanessa hudgens

  • staring 1972 nissan skyline and vanessa hudgens

  • I want those taillights for my Mk1 Capri;)

  • Yes they are cool, those round tailights design stayed during the 80s, 90s, and today´s Skylines.

  • look like a muscle car

  • the nissan skyline, especially the GT-R lineage, has been definitive in redefining japan's auto industry. I do like japanese cars and are beyond small, ecnomical models.

  • 車のスタイルがすばらしいね

  • @denpoyon Ongaku ha nan desu ka? watashi wa suki desu. Arigato!

  • @shironissan The song is Ai to kaze no you ni (K&M 愛と風のように) by K&M

  • kenmeri skyline is legendary in japan, and now many car enthusiasts around the world are beginning to appreciate them. true, these cars don't have the racing lineage of the hakosuka skyline, but they look way cooler thanks to the mopar inspired styling

  • no lets face it , my country produce the Spyker and some of volvo and your country >?

And yes the new US cars for nxt year 2009 the are like the the REAL us cars like the use to be, with DISIGN , an no Japanese cars are boring to see, since the 1980s the havent change the models

  • Mini American cars?

Yeah, American cars had 4 tires, 1 hood, 2 side mirrors so did Japanese cars.

Did you have cars of so original design in your country that had no tires, no doors, no bumpers?

  • And nowadays most of Japanese cars have no design?

    You're without a clue, haha.

Today considering some priority factors like fuel efficiency, easiness to drive based on hydrodynamics or human engineering, every car is forced to be heve more or less similar look.

Look at Italian cars! Certainly they have cool appearances but are regardless of practical use. Who wants to use them for daily life driving?

  • Actualy many American cars have recently come to be similar to Japanese ones in design.

That's because they found the meaning of a balance of designs and practicality.

  • I love my Datsun 240k. The C110 Skyline is a legend!!!!!!

  • sugoi na sukairain

  • @lymon800 uta no namae ha nan desu ka? can you help me find the name of the song here?

  • yeah and today is the most popular car in the world

  • No, the Ford F150 is the most popular car in the world if you look at the number of times it was sold.

  • Ford F150 is classed as a truck mate

  • Well, in europe we call it a car. Cause it weighs less than 3500Kg. Anything above 3500Kg is called a truck here.

  • @Magico Its actually name is a ute. The cab and tray design was designed in Australia and is called a ute.. mmmhmmmm

  • @Magico Well, most popular does not mean most sold.

  • @Magico so is a bus a truck?or an airplane a truck?

  • @Magico - I think you will find its the VW Beatle anyway if your talking about a single model

  • @Magico Actually we call the F150 what it is...a piece of scrap metal pressed into car shape...nothing more, nothing less...and the skyline is a simple classic! just beautiful!

  • @vr83 id call it a ute

  • @Magico The F150 is a truck, stupid.

  • @Magico the F-150 sells more due to avaliability. Here in the U.S. only the R35 chassis is legal any other R series chassis is ilegal that is why the F-150 can sells more and seem more popular in sales. It doesnt change the fact that the skyiline is more popular.

  • @Magico omg get outta here

  • @Magico Actually thats the most popular truck, most popular car sadly is the Mazda Miatta. Best selling sports car goes to the 300ZX.

  • @Magico no, it's the vw bettle

  • @Magico ford.com/trucks/f150/ as you can see from the link, the Ford F150 is classified as a truck not a car...looks just like a Holden Ute or FPV Pursuit that you can find on the roads in Australia, but you guys call it a pick-up truck. pretty much the same thing mate

  • @drifter55555

Actually the most popular car in the world is the Toyota Corolla.

  • side view, it looks kinda like a cuda. but thats just me.

  • Could be, lots of 70's japanese cars look like amerikan muscle cars. It quite a common thing.

  • @Magico that was just the styling of every vehicle in the 70s

  • @Breadcrummb lmao

  • that's ken & mary right?

  • I have no idea mate, perhaps there's some sort of database in which you can find this song. I'll take a look too, if I find it I will let you know. Greets.

  • Where can I get the song of this commercial ad? Thanks.
