Although I agree this IS the best line to come out of the series or at least the most memorable, the line really doesn't fit. In fact it's completely random that he shouts out this piece of dialogue after You are not my father. I believe there was more to this scene than was aired and there was more to Batman's mental battle. "You're not my father! Thomas Wayne would be proud knowing the people are protected from the evil of this city, that I bring to justice..." or something like that cue line.

Kevin Conroy is definitely one of the best people to portray Batman. He's got the excellent presence in his voice and manages to do a believeable change in voice from Batman/Bruce Wayne, something that bothered me a bit with Christian Bale's "I gargle with whiskey and thumbtacks" Batman. Not to say he doesn't do a good job as well of course
