I like this but i don't think the original was bad as such.She didn't do it to spite him, she did it for her without really thinking about the consequences for him. I think she told him to give him an out, but all the while hoping he wouldn't. You can see the relief when he refuses to back down.
Dave is the most fertile man in Scotland! All joking aside though, the ending did bother me as well. This recut is quite good. The whole series was quite good actually, but there were bits that did bother me. Well done :D
it seemed like everyone kept interrupting him...im watching midnight on doctor who and this at the same time...Yep everyone is so impatient and David is yet again trying to talk to everyone....so wierd that as soon she said she was pregnent that on the TV, Rose popped up on the screen behind him...almost like a warning...weird...

You're all forgetting the conversation that Rita and Sarah had the day before Rita died. Remember when they were in the garden and Rita was saying that she never asked Dave about having a baby? She just went and did it. I think the original ending was Sarah doing exactly what Rita would have done. And I think that she was afraid that by being honest with Dave about it would have made him change his mind - but he didn't, proving that Dave loves Sarah maybe as much as he loves Rita.
There we go! You're right, we'd been through enough. Made them a little nicer people. Now could you go back and fix the parts where he swore at the kids? Sheesh! This sure wasn't The Sound of Music, was it?
awww, that was a lot sweeter and a better fit for the show. It was a little out of place for Sarah to have that mean twist right there at the end. Was she just trying to push him away? In this she's still hesitant, but she's not trying to hurt Dave.
