YEAH. also i go to dungeons with necromancers, summon a storm atronach and blow everything up with my sword. i now got 15 greater soul gems, and 15000 big ones ;)

I have a glass shortsword with an absorb fatigue enchantment. I never lose because:

1. I always have full fatigue so always full damage

2. When you absorb enough of the enemy's fatigue they fall unconscious. Yes, they pass out.

You should try it lol

The Class of mage is the best class in oblivion.. You get over 10 spells at the start and you are invincible practically :p

I play as a breton, mage birthsign, custom class with all magic types, and sneak. Once out of the sewers i do the taken from the dead quest line wich you start from Jensine in her store. (market district) Also i do the "Go fish" quest in Weye to get water breathing ring. Then i get money for Apothoeis staff in Rindir's Staffs. GREAT staff, then i do dark brotherhood questline and i mainly use destruction magic unless im summoning, or need to be un-detected...

I don't like WoW. It has no feeling of immersion, it just feels like a giant multiplayer game, which it is. If you like story, depth and the feeling of actually being in another world then Oblivion is that game. WoW may be big and may have a lot of aspects that essentially make living and breathing but at it still just feels like a multiplayer experience. MMOs feel disconnected from the world they build.

Its a stunning game, dont get me wrong, but you always feel like they should have done more, aswell as cartoon graphics, you are being conned, the game isnt that good. however big it might be.

@Makrillol yeah, and once you're out of the Imperial prison, you just walk to the other side of the bridge at Imperial city, do the quest ''go fishing'' and once you finish that quest, you get a ring that let you breath underwater and give you ath skill.

the best COMBAT mage 'class' in my opinion is:

Race: Breton

most magic to start with and a higher magic defence.

Star:Atronach

increases the magic level by a further 150, with no decrease in defence and an added magic absorb (do note, however, that if you pick this Star, grinding skills such as illusion will be difficult if you are poor.

Class:

Mage

added bonus to all magic related skills AND makes them so that as you train them, you can level up

breton has weaker offensive natural spell ability (they are not talented in destruction) but basically they are good because they are anti-mage due to high spell resistances

high elf is the exact opposite.. magic weakness.. but has great skill in ALL magic.. and have more starting mana.

i prefer high elves.. cos its slightly more challenging to play.. and i prefer to be tall (bretons are tiny xD)

Yes you can use them, they act as magical "bazookas" and have to be recharged every so often. It's generally better to rely on your own skills anyway, at least in my experience :)

id rather use a melee weapon.. enchant it with weakness to magic/frost/fire/shock .. then blast the target with your spell and watch them die in 1 hit :D

I'm glad you made a breton mage...wanted to see how it faired against a Breton Healer. ^^ I got my Willpower maxed by level 15 which was nice..but now I can't increase it anymore other than enchantments/spells so I'm at a loss on that lol. then again I chose The Lady birthsign so I have +15 Will/End and I have a cowl that increases willpower by 20...so 130 Willpower = pretty fast recharge on paralysis/heal/destruction combos
