I thank u for ur reply and I do appreciate, like many Moroccans, ur wonderful works... as they say; "behind every great man a Lalla Moulati" ^_^..However, I m one of those that see this fusion fad as a distortion & an assult on our traditional original treassures.. I do understand that u re trying to make our sound more acceptable to the western ear but that to me is like eating Elkssksso with a fork&knife ..so u may as well letthem eat with their hand.. noo wata meen

a big part of the genius of omar sosa is his ability to cross cultures musically and spiritually. this process not only creates exciting new sounds, but it sends a very positive message about bringing people together. while i understand it is not a pure expression of the roots it is incorporating, it actually exposes those roots to new audiences who then often seek the pure expression you cherish. everyone wins!

Fun to see them having so much fun. Also to see a group in a house instead of on stage - I enjoyed the naturalness, daylight, "sepia tone look", etc.
