I really wanna love this movie, but I kinda only like bits and pieces. I think it would have worked better as a cable tv series. Richard Kelley was just trying to put too much stuff into two and a half hours. Too many characters, too much exposition, too many big ideas. Which kills a story that is already challenging. But as a cable tv show with more time, it could have worked.
